One of the greatest DJs ever from Canada, Lil' Jaz shows out his 1997 DMC Canada Finals routine for the Turntable TV cameras. Lil' Jaz finished 3rd in the Finals, behind the winner A-Trak and the defending champion D-Scratch. Jaz would go on to become Canadian DMC champion the following year. I've flipped the mirror shots so the DJing will be more sensible for viewers.

Man, what a DJ this cat is! And his intro is reminiscent of a prelude to the 1998 DMC World Eliminations and World Finals combined. In the land where ice hockey, lacrosse, and figure skating reign supreme in sports-which all three I love dearly, DJ Lil' Jaz is the one DJ that can mix the old and new styles and everything in between. Sure, DJ A-Trak reigned supreme in 1997, but Lil' Jaz has got so much skills that other DJ's and even fans cannot ignore.😁
