If I’m not mistaken, the last Fairly OddParents game you played was called Shadow Showdown. That game is actually a sequel to Breaking Da Rules.
The other one seemed much better though. This one looks empty and boring in comparison.. especially the chasing stars constantly would be so annoying rather than fun.

@@MikadoYumaas someone who didn’t grow up with an N64 or GameCube, this game fit the 3D Mario rip off equivalent pretty well. I played this and Battle for Bikini Bottom a lot as a kid.
I thought it would be impossible for me to like these guys any more than I do now but then they both started singing the AVGN theme song so my respect for them has entered a new level!

While this game was a good first attempt (in spite of the audio sounding like they dipped the microphones in ketchup), "Shadow Showdown" was a vast improvement. And yes! Please play the Rugrats games for PS1! "Search for Reptar" is a classic, and the other great one that needs more love is "Studio Tour".

This was my favorite FOP story growing up, especially since the show is really way more mean spirited than I realized growing up. I thought the adventure platforming was fun besides some sloppy controls. I liked how it adapted episodes of the show without just copy pasting line for line. The limitations of the game helped make the game more ominous since there were few NPC’s and little music. Especially levels with hostiles like when you have to avoid Crocker, the brainwashed Girl Scouts, etc. I loved it for being a slightly more epic FOP story.

It’s average at best. I got this and the other Fairly game as a kid and played em each for like an hour and never again. Even as a 9-10 year old I knew better games like Ratchet, Jak, Battle for Bikini Bottom, and hell even Madagascar is better. This game isn’t horrible by any means it’s actually alright just boring
I absolutely loved the PC version of this as a kid! This one is so different but cool.
God, Mind Pulp using 240p reminds me of the audio of people's mics in RuneScape videos in 2006; the only thing missing is Three Days Grace or Skillet.

memes aside, this game actually looks really nice. I noticed Timmy's hair moves depending on where the camera is facing so his fringes of hair are visible. Sorta like how they spent months ensuring Micky's ears always made the logo in the Epic Micky series.

I think the nostalgia is strong for me, cuz I never disliked the show, even in it's later seasons, and I managed to play this when the show was in it's prime (and I was a kid).

Mindpulp you should DEF check out Rocket power beach bandits on ps2. But man this game and shadow showdown have some realll nice OST. The music for example when Timmy is grappling across the rooftops on the Crimson Chin stage is so fun.
