I would simplify this by just knowing your tracks...everything else come naturally! When I was spinning vynal we didn't have it this easy with software.
Ive Learnt Off VDJ And Currently Switched Over To Serato Intro Using My Mixdecks Never thought it would be so hard but im getting there quick and learning quick At home and at live gigs :) Practice practice practice!

Fore those, like me who had problems to get the visual aid to set the cues with 1-2-3-4-5 and colors, don t forget to unplug your controller otherwise you don t see them ^^
But One question : If I move all the tracks from my actual hard disk to put them on a new one, will all those markers be saved ?

Hi DJ Hapa. I have a question for you. I appreciate this video and allows me to figure out where to set my cue points. However, I purchased the CDJ 2000 nexus and I'm only limited to 3 cue points on this device. Where do you recommend setting up the cue points on a cdj?

Neither of these tracks have a vocal come in until after 8 bars. What should you do when the next song starts out with a vocal?
Either pre-loop a part of the song that has a beat to it and mix in from that and hit a cue point that starts the song ... or you can pre loop the beat of the song thats playing and after a chorus just jump to that beat and mix vocals to it

Know your music, not your cue points....
How about know your music AND set up cue points... People who sample mix and use verses for mash ups will perform alot better setting up cue points and labeling them than "just knowing where the part is".

I like to use the Vinyl to control my music as I was bought up on vinyl mixing. I want to upgrade as I still use SL1, but I want to be able to have more pitch control when using the vinyl and not in internal mode. When using vinyl I can switch between 33 & 45 but I'd like more than the +-8% normally given. Is there any software out there that has this? Thx in advance!
unfortunately there is not a program that will give you that extra pitch control you are looking for. Most DJ controllers have awesome pitch features that will do what you need it to do. Behemoth 1,2,3,4 2,2,3,4 3,2,3,4 4,2,3,4 it helps keep track of what bar in the phrase you are in. Restarts when in new Phrase (section)

when ever a turntablist sees me use cue points I get harassed saying real djs don't use it. It's also happening online on you tube to other people. Cue points enhances the vibe of a set so much I don't know what they got against it.
I agree with you! Cue points allow you to do so much more creativity! I have found so many ways to use cue points to impress people. I have SO MANY TIPS lol

syndromeofadown oh yeah a mac will do just fine im just saying if u cant afford a 800 laptop well thats if u can find a good deal on a mac you can just get a decent laptop from a pawnshop but if u can afford mad yeah bro mac will be just fine its not like u need a monster gaming rig for dj software
syndromeofadown ok get a mac i would say dj deck i recommend either a mixtrack numark pro theres various models or a pioneer ddj sb or sx but just look around on amazon or dj shops online or even pawnshops they have. Equipment sometimes too
syndromeofadown and no problem bro thats what we have to do spread the love and passion for music to keep evolving music and take advantage of this generation this is the the year of electronic its becoming more mainstream and with that u can appeal to more people u can make music or mixes and share it on social media and hey if u get lucky maybe u can find an opprutunity to make money by either djing for shows or signing to a label and making music with other sick artists and overall just having fun with what u do

MediumMemeMaster remember 4 beats to a bar. So 1,2,3,4...2,2,3,4...3,2,3,4...4,2,3,4. The first number would indicate what bar you're counting from. Hope that makes sense :p
