  • I made something with some unintended results , and gives me some ideas and understanding on better turbine/ housing designs.

Compressor surge might be what you where seeing too

when you block the outlet of a centrifugal implleor/fan it simply doesent move any air and the rpm increases, so your measurement for static pressure wont work. look up "measuring static pressure for centrifugal fan" and see what test demos they use and copy them

Fascinating development, mate! Ironically the audio could do with some compression as well - the noise completely overpowers your voice over for quite a bit of it, unfortunately.

god damn, dude. Your content is insane for such a small channel

Look out for recirculation - from the high pressure side to the low pressure side of the turbine impeller. When running into a dead head like the boost gauge, the recirculation will be where you lose lots of pressure.

yeah that's likely why it seams to pulse ,I do need to make up a bleed off tester . I get the feeling this design would seal better on the vacuum side , being as I took the design mostly from a vacuum cleaner . just another step on my development and understanding of turbine, and housing design .
