I feel so bad for the horseshoe crabs that are kept in labs and milked to death. People suck
Yeah. And what makes it even worse somehow is that ,like many other animal products that we use, we now have the technology to replicate most of them by producing a synthetic version of them on a molecular level. We do it for pharmaceutical components all the time. But that just wouldn't fit the profit motive now would it? It's far cheaper and therefore far more lucrative to just torture animals instead.
Not "to death", stupid. They're too valuable for _that._
@@craigwall9536 wow no need to be nasty. Totally uncalled for.
Supposedly the Horse Shoe crabs are returned alive to their natural environment after having their blood TAKEN from them, so that they can recover and be re-captured and bled again.
The humans doing it claim it's like giving blood for people but these extremely ancient beings are not able to consent and probably wouldn't if they could.
It has to be very hard on their bodies to go through repetitive trauma and blood loss.
I grew up with Horse Shoe Crabs all around the shores of the Gulf of Mexico and their numbers certainly have declined, though I think that has just as much to do with certain human groups destroying the living land and ecosystems that all living beings, including humans, are apart of.
They've existed for 240 Million years only to be nearly wiped out in a matter of a few decades.
The first one, I hope they put that creature back in the Atlantic
People eat it
I even fish for it commercially
Put it back

Everyone look up Tico the singing parrot! That bird truly has soul! His dad plays the guitar and Tico sings his little heart out! I promise you won’t regret it. They started putting out videos during the Covid lockdown, but they haven’t got the Recognition they deserve yet. It’s incredible. A lot of birds sing, but this bird riffs like there’s no tomorrow.
I will look it up. thanks for sharing.
He's awesome! 👍
I had to come back to thank you ;) That parrot made my night
Yeah, I know Tico, that bird rocks!!!
I had a friend who had an African Grey, and that bird was smart. Every time we would smoke weed,he would wait about 15 minutes, and then he would start chuckling ceaselessly until whoever was sitting close enough to his perch would literally start laughing to tears. It happened to all of us. That bird knew what he was doing. Like I said he didn’t start right away, he would just wait for a bit, and start with 3-4 hehehe, and then work his way up to to almost incessant hehehehehehe, and I can’t explain it, and you knew what he was doing, and you couldn’t help but start laughing to tears literally. I don’t smoke anymore, but every time I remember it, it still makes me laugh.
He got a contact high off of it.
Animals are amazing
Dude- the bird had a contact buzz.
@@kiki29073 no because he would try it a couple of times when I smoked a cigarette. So he just knew that it worked if you were high
When my friends and I got together and smoked weed, we usually laughed more or got the giggles. If you and your friend behaved the same way, the parrot may have learned that shortly after you got high, you would start giggling; so he started imitating you when you had a cigarette, a cigar, or a joint.
I had a dog that sang along to AC/DC! Bodine was a cross breed German Shepherd-Airedale and she loved the band. Had to put her out in the yard to listen to the band.
6:57 "recently discovered monsters that have been recently discovered"
"Allow myself to introduce...myself..."
That was a Little Skate, according to the New Jersey wildlife website that I looked at. I didn't like that it was stressed and dying out of the water. It should have been returned to the water as soon as possible. Aarre Peltomaa
I wish they would leave these poor animals alone, and not handle them! Just take photos! Don’t catch them on hooks, or take them out of nests! What is wrong with people?
Idiots
The bird baby finches are neat.
My dog will do the same if my daughter and I start singing. It's a pack mentality. Dogs howl to call the pack back like when you leave them alone ( separation anxiety) or when they think the pack is howling, they join in.
Batfish!!! I have pics I took snorkeling in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. We were lobster diving when I saw one on the ocean floor. I was freaked out when it came after me. LOL
Most of these animals are actually fairly well known.
soooo ... you stated how the monkeys have such an interesting story behind why they had such a unique nose, yet you never actually said anything about why they had indeed have such a unique nose. SMH.
I waited the entire monkey clip also, &
DEE-NIED!!
The bright spots aid the parents to hit the spot when feeding the babies. The vivid dots help them aim at the mouth. Saw this on a David Attenborough documentary. And he knows all!
He sure does.
Lol
Thank u
Whoa! What Incredible Creatures these are!
Wasn't a clickbait thumbnail ! U have earned my respect
I've seen horseshoe crabs down near ocean city maryland they're kind of cool and creepy looking at the same time
I have seen horseshoe crabs in small ponds in West Texas miles from any large body of water. Nothing creepy about that.
I lived in Southampton Long island and in the small bays we would see horseshoe crabs. When they were found dead on the shore we would scrape out their legs but leave the tail hanging down like a point and wear them for helmets you know like for playing soldier? They were all dried out by that point and didn't smell too much.
@@marymisdom3955 yea I've found them dead too and if I found one complete like that I probably would have tried it too cuz I was a kid the last time I was down at ocean City maryland
@@sarahs4305 I was a kid when I did that.😁
Same.
Aye- Aye and Tarsier were always so cute for me🤗
If that guy out of Pennsylvania can have an emotional support Gator, then I can have an "emotional support" Black Mamba. There!
🤣🤣🤣Right!!
You want an emotional support snake? 😂 Shiittt , I'd rather see a snake then a gator standing behind me in line at the gas station.
I want an emotional support Ostrich 🤗... That way I can ride into the sunset majestically after receiving my Out Back steak house order. Bloomin Onion B**ches !!!!!! 😂 I'm bored forgive me 🤷🤦
It was awful watching the Coney Island creature suffering. I hope they threw it back.
I put the same
Me too
Sadly Probably not!!! It seems most people knew what it was except the folkswhocaughtitandthe commentator.
I feel so sad about the suffering of the tarsiers. Why are the poachers not captured and punished?
That Dracudeer got me! Lol!
I've watched a lot of, " Amazing Animals, You've never seen" videos; I've never seen quite a few of these! It was an impressive list to say the least! Well done!
Love the baby birds how cool to know
Wow. I loved it. I already wanted to be a vet but now I want be a a vet more🤩 I came as soon as I got the notification 😏. And always love these videos 😚😘
U go Pinku, we'll never have enough animal doctors. Especiallynow when mankindiskilling off so many unknown & unique breeds & types of critters!!! Good luck 2 U, Go FOLLOW U'RE DREAMS!!!
Strange and very beautiful creations indeed.
I’d put that thing back in the water before Mama knows it’s gone!!🤦♀️
For 5 years I looked for verification of the existence of the Ili Pika. I'd only seen 2 or 3 photos and still those photos looked somewhat different, furrier ears. I wasn't sure they were live animals but thought they were maybe stuffed animal toys. I am so glad to see all this video of them - they are so darling!
Awwww i think that Shoebill is adorable. Why do people think they look evil?
That bird is horrific
Holy Fukashima mutation Batman.
Tarsier is the cutest thing I've ever seen but anyone who would cage this wild animal in hope to make money off it , is jus a very cruel evil person. So sad
I agree, Beautiful Lady. Perhaps the perp should be treated the same way for a while. Then he can be interviewed for his thoughts.
@@cosmoshelton884 (thank u) eye for an eye huh. See how he likes being caged and treated like a side show
I love the coatimundi, the way their nose wiggles is amazing. Although the freak my wife out when she saw what the nose could do! 😂
Let me see; what do I think? They shouldn't have left that poor Coney Island creature on the dock to suffocate. They should've let it go
We humans take advantage of these wonderful creatures is sad
Most people are good. Don't judge all people by a few bad ones.
It makes me sad too😞
You can find a species of Pika in the northern Cascade Mountains of the great northwest ( Washington State )
I've seen it! Up near the Inn of the Seventh Mountain, Bend, Oregon. That's when I fell in love with the Pika.
I had fished around coney island for many years and caught quite a few of those. It's a Skate, part of the ray, shark family. It just balled itself up cause it was out of the water.
Thank you
It seems everyoneknows what it is except the idiots killing it , outta water. And the bloke commentating the video!?!? What the f!@#k
Strange and unique creatures
Strange isn't the word.... Must admit the videos you guys put together are really unique!!!! Great job 👍
Dude those baby birds freaked me out.. omg
You should watch Top Fives then, same content but more original, these guys are just ripping them off a few episodes behind with a slightly different title and different thumbnail

I loved it!!! Some are the most cute and cuddilieyest there is!
Support alligator is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of.
Wow all the different animals amazing
Amazing list, thanks!
Aren't the water around Coney Island kinda nasty? Perhaps that first "sea monster" was some kind mutation....
I had a Coati ♥️♥️♥️ he was the best pet ever and I miss him. He died of old age
How does that little bug eyed thing take its own life ?!?!
*** I just googled it and it says they will bang their heads on trees when under stress. So tourists have to not be loud and only take pics with the flash off .... I assume there must be a tour guide that takes people into the wild to see the critters since apparently they kill themselves the first night they are in captivaty !!!!! We must do serious psychological damage to alot of different animals ( other life forms )
Fantastic ! :D
Hope they put that number one creature back
The dog is howling because the high pitch of opera hurts his ears!!
Lol 😂 idk what all that was I watched but it was very interested n my mom love ur shows bout the animals ..
The first one.. Looks like a dogfish aka mother in law fish known well here on the third coast - Texas , Gulf of Mexico
Number 1 can also be a member of 3 stooges.
I am now totally freaked out!!!
What's the difference between a pickpocket & a peeping tom?
One snatches ur watches & the other watches snatches!
The Coney island sea creature was unlike any skate or Ray I've ever caught and I've probably caught a few hundred
Finally something I’ve never seen before
I want four of those birds that look like beatles
The last creature looks like a deformed baby octopus! Interesting videos!
Why didnt they put that sea creature straight into some water? so they c'ld save & observe it.
It's a skate trying to breathe. Poor thing!
Aye Ayes are beautiful creatures and deserve better. Tarsiers deserve better too. The alligator is so cool. Musk deer are neat. Bilbys are adorable. Peka peka lol cute.
The first sea creature. Put it in water even a bucket of water just so it doesn't have to die a horrible death. I don't understand how people can not feel any compassion and automatically not try to help an animal or person but stand there and just watch.
Grass finches....very cool 😎 and sea creature is maybe a deformed something😱so weird
7 years is pretty long for a rodent. Rats only live 3 years or so
Wow, 7 yrs is ancient!! I Breed pet rats & my oldest is around 4.5 yrs but he was crippled by arthritis in his back legs, that he dragged around after him!!!
That first one is a Slithy Tove, they gyre and gimble in the wabe.
Love the Jaberwocky reference!
I live in N.Z and I had a Gloucester canary in the '80s lol, his name was Speedy Banana🥰 yellow with brown patches of feathers.Boy could he move FAST and such a beautiful songbird, his little feather hat was so cute. I'm sure they are still available from breeders today!!😊💜💚💜
I won the lottery last year 🤣😂
Me too I won 5 dollars and had lunch on that.
I think your video was as calming and relaxing as always, aswell as extremely interesting, you have a natural gentle kind voice, the only things that relax me as much are Frasier and Poirot and the top 5s UK, you four are my absolute go to's when I'm stressed, then I can breath, great job, thanks for the hard work 👍👍👍😀.
Shoebills are docile abs friendly to humans
Here. Meet my support cobra!
Its a male ray with rings folded under They do it all the time
It's Mr Limpets progeny!
I CANNOT BELEIVE you didn't tell people about the cool way they hunted!! Or why they had that very long finger!!
"Proboscis" is pronounced "pro-bos-is," with the "o" in the middle syllable pronounced like the "o" in "lone" or "moat."
Worthy video; it's a miracle the horseshoe crab can Barely survive the coast of Virginia with all the pollution from the Shipyard.
That first creature reminds me of what they talk about near the great lakes,it is a snallygaster !
I’ve lived in Michigan my whole life never heard that?
Do you think Jimmy Durante raised probiscus monkeys?
There should be zillions of the horseshoe crabs, but have recently declined 90% due to overharvesting and habitat destruction.
😞sad
The grass finch feeds its babies at night the mouth marking are so the parent birds see the baby bird mouth when feeding in the dark.
I think, please put these creatures back into their habitat.
Why can't us humans just look at animals from afar and leave them alone just admire them. Don't do that ridiculous shit like tourist do and must hold it and take photos with them not all animals can be helded and the stress they go through of course after crappy photo you can go home but the animals in stress and anxiety dies than replaced by another that have same fate .
Because we are a selfish species, nothing will be left in the natural world due to humans...if we can cage and kill each other well value isn't place on anything else sadly we are a disease to this planet😞
“Helded”? Seriously?
When i was in school, we used to have field trips to the beach where there would hundreds of Horseshoe crabs on the beach and we would pick them up and get educated on them
The earth is only 6 thousand years old.
I want an AYE AYE!!! So adorable!!! As long as he doesn’t throw poop like chimps, I’m in!
good
I liked the video. I have seen others that have been narrated by the same person, who does a wonderful job. Just one little thing, it is called ' probOScis ' not 'probIScis '. It sounds like 'boss'.
Thank you!! When I heard that word being butchered it set my teeth on edge! I have a pet peeve about narrators who can’t correctly enunciate or pronounce words in an intelligible manner!
That fishy thing was just an octopus with a malformity. Something about waste and pollution of our seas and oceans.
It's totally an elasmobranch with its fins caught together.
Omg, put it back! Poor Coney Island critter.
Weird things, makes good movie ideas.
Unbelievable fact:
Someone tried to sell New Zealand on eBay but was stopped once the bid reached $3,000
-Shazistic
Jimmy Durante !
You must be at least as old as I am !
I don't think many people today would remember him..... L o l. !
My mom had a coati Mundial as a pet when he was young. Later she released him near the Rio Grade.
Love this News.
💖😊👍🇺🇲🎉
Cony island creature pretty close to mauntauk hmmmm🤔
The earth and universe is a lot younger than we think
The Aye-aye reminds me of the little creature in the movie Flight of the Navigator.
All is good to watch except that transition scene with that animated man with hat...that was very disturbing
Those baby finches are creepy af fo some reason! 😨 They give me the heebie-jeebies like a big hairy spider does! 😬😵
''a demonic grin''...lol....
back in 1985 we had a canary that had a hair do like the Beatles .
