If I remember correctly I read the Brute was supposed to be a super heavy chasis with more mobility, high melee damage, and a high damaging version of the Quad Rocket as main weapon. So probably big but agile and a high damaging but a slower DPS weapon which makes sense. It would have been completed on a second DLC if Titanfall would have done better on sales. Definitely a loss not seeing this one completed, maybe they will include it in the next Flash movie with Nicolas Cage piloting it. In some alternate universe, there is a Brute owning Titan Brawl.

It’s not easy to play ronin competitively, arc waves should be used smartly and not to just engage/disengage. Knowing crouch tech is a must for a good ronin player, leadwall does far more damage than you think, even if it’s not a crit
@@spencermccoy895Brute is a titan class only seen in the campain, it is identical to a northstar chasis but with a quad rocket launcher, it fires a single high speed rocket when ADS and fires 4 spining rockets while blind firing, using more ammo correspondingly.
Perfect fights what I like about titan fall that when you are in the mode you can play any titan well. Even if loosing it's still amazing experience the best fps game fast and very demanding.
i would've thought a Tone chassis would've been used for Brute, it has the abilities like Particle Wall. but yet is more towards NorthStar, so it's kinds reasonable
That defensive ability for brute seems REALLY overpowered I imagine specially with the high mobility it showed, that prob is more annoying to deal with than Tones particle wall. A shame we never got an official brute tho, would've been cool.
Could you tell me what the different abilities the custom brute has in the video pls? I noticed that defense was dome shield and offense was some sort of grenadier ability ?
In fairness, I assume it's because there was never a unique Titan created for it. Northstar, Ronin, Scorch, Ion, Legion, Tone, Monarch, all had unique Titan designs with unique abilities and cores. Brute, although has a cool weapon, has a vortex shield (which ion already had), flight mode (Northstar had it), and missile salvo, and a flight core. If they had changed the abilities to be more unique, and gave the weapon to a unique Titan class, it'd probably be included.

Hey, former Titanfall 2 pro here. I used Ronin and Scorch a LOTTTTT (Both have completely opposite play styles ofc). When it comes to Ronin, getting up close and personal is everything in a Titan 1v1. Your sword will get you a lot of the damage you need. Once you take the out the shield and the first bit of health, always *and I mean always* go for the execution. You dont wanna waste time trying to whittle down your opponents health cause if it's scorch, legion, Northstar (w/ Core ready), your done for if you waste time. Ronin is a bit of a glass cannon in my eyes. He gets good damage but can be killed very easily if it's a half decent player. Lastly, Ronin's phase shift is great for blowing up other Titans cause if you time it right, you can phase into them which kills the Titan and Pilot instantly.

Ronin tip: if youre fighting 1v1, always stay as close as possible to your target, and always move while reloading, use arc wave alot.

if the developers would thought about Brute as an option, we would have 8 titans by now
he almost was...but likely wont now due to how good brute would be and how meta altering a properly set up brute could be in mulitplayer

Indestructible dome shield for defense, goes down when the player shoots, cluster grenades for offense, three grenades are shot out in a burst

It kills you instead of them and even with swordblock up it doesnt kill just does more damage
