I have been covering red carpet of celebrities for 15 years. I just recently retired. My body was just not having it with the high physical demands anymore to cover entertainment. I couldn’t understand what was happening to me. And not only that, coming into the faith few years ago changed my perspective of things I’ve seen in my field that I felt no longer aligns with my core beliefs as a Christian. And I found out what was going with me is that I was diagnosed with 2 neurological disorders that God wanted me to focus on. My leaving the industry is his perfecting timing to which requires me to shift my focus elsewhere. Now, I’m working on what my next move will be and I’m trusting Jesus to guide me through my new path. I agree, we need to be patient and rely on his timing. Not be stuck with our “microwave mindset” wanting something in 3 minutes. Being a Christian is a pilgrimage journey. It’s no walk to the park nor is it Disneyland. It has challenges and pain but it is rewarding when we put our trust in him in the process. Remember when Moses led all these people out of Egypt to Canaan (Israel) The journey out of Egypt was brutal but the breakthrough was mind blowing! Well done Ruslan!
also the story of Moses teaching us about patience: He was 40 years in the desert before returning to Egypt and freeing his people at 80! (Same with Joseph, he spent not just one year in prison)

I took your advice almost 2 months ago Ruslan... I started going to church and now I play in the church band where as before that I was scared to touch an instrument again and guess what? Everything is starting to go exactly how you said it would I was sceptical at first but God led me to the right church I'm plugged in and helping the community. If it wasn't for your encouragement and words and God working in me it might not have happened. I struggle significantly with discipline in many areas in my life mainly my health. Waking up early, reading the word… I feel the anxiety has overwhelmed me and I feel paralyzed spiritually but also just in life. Enjoyed this message. I’m seeking where I need to start.
I've noticed my panic/anxiety issues that came into play late last year have caused me to think more about meaning and purpose.. I feel closer to the Lord, I feel like my purpose is something more meaningful to me and not just a secondary thought. Refiners fire... James 1:2-4

Starting every day off reading the Bible and talking with God is a must for me now. It reminds and encourages me to make a conscious effort all throughout the day to glorify Him in everything I do and every decision I make.

Pray for me. I’ve been in a struggle of depression and addiction since my divorce several years ago. I have my kids full time and they need better and I need better. I don’t know how to get off this hamster wheel and I don’t have any support
One step at a time. Maybe you can start with lessening whatever addiction you have. Each time you say no to the addiction, that's one step closer to overcoming it. Each time you fail, that's one step to understanding why you succumb to it, and learn from it. As you overcome, you will lessen your depression. My opinions at least.
Praying for you brother. I am not sure if you're in a good church, good, as in one that minister to you and your family. Get with others in recovery. Remember that the LORD is with His people and He is looking for those looking for HIM.

For me when I seem to feel stuck in an area of life I think serving in that area is a key to gaining wisdom, knowledge and understanding as I move forward in that area and also seek scripture that deals with the principles that apply.

I fell into the Christian nihilism category and used that as an excuse to recuse myself from doing the work (I was still saving myself for marriage). Later I likened that years long (probably a decade) mindset to the servant that buried his talent. I’m thankful that I’m moving away from that mindset

For 2 months I’ve been constantly taking cold showers & doing 100 pushups, sit ups and squats. Soon I’ll looking for a workout plan to add to what I’m already doing

Great stuff. Our timeline is so often not God's timeline on things. Satan is this one that often tells us that we should have that thing, whatever that thing is (often even a good, redemptive thing), RIGHT NOW, whatever the way we try to achieve it. When God is saying, in His time, through resting in His word, and working through the discipline of His Spirit, day after day. We are so impatient. And God has no qualms operating at a timescale of generations and centuries for His will. I have had to learn to just be content to have His will in my life.

I've planted some deep seeds and grown some deep roots within my local parish attending mass weekly on top of that I've also connected myself with a Baptist Bible study with a couple of guys I work with. And last year my conversations with my non-believer girlfriend have been increasingly changing for the better she is finally accepting my hard stance on my faith and religion as a whole. At night I put my head on her head and I say my prayers for her and her family. The Catholic crucifix I wear around My neck and the Christian fish tattoo I will be getting is not met with any kind of snide comment from her. I feel that God is directing me into HIS PATH not mine. She believes that God is within her but she doesn't know who Jesus is. All of this like you said takes TIME. And I have an extremely blessed life living in a first world country and I have the freedom to freely worship my Catholic faith without being persecuted. I feel so incredibly illuminated and blessed that Christ and his angels are with me always. sometimes I see myself dancing in the mirror I don't know where, so illuminated by his grace and and faith while working everything out in his love❤🙏✝️
If your "with" your gf and is truly a known believer... It is doing serious damage to your spirit. I know people don't like to hear that. We can handle it all. I get it. I'm a 41 year old female....I get it. But if you truly love the Lord and I'm sure you do. You'd put a stop to the physical in order to help you grow with the Lord and mark my words. ....I would bet this will either change her feelings towards you or she will open her heart much differently. Food for thought.

I went to a camp this year over the Carnival period(in my country it's common during Carnival time for churches to take the kids on camps) and the simple adjustment of waking up at 6am every single day and going to bed at 11pm was revolutionary for me. I experienced God in a whole new way. This camp was only 3 days but it changed so many things. So I want to try waking up at a better time.
I can relate to this. This should be attached on the top of your chanel. It needs to be listened from time to time coz we get stucked in different routines. This video should be called "How to restart yourself!".

As a person who has been a Christian for as long as I can remember, I am 56 years old, I am constantly amazed at how GOD uses the world to show us where we should be. I know that seems a bit cryptic but here's the reason for this response. During difficult times GOD gives us what we need to get through the difficulty we just have to see what GOD is giving us and recognise it for what it is. If something isn't going how we envisaged it would go GOD is probably telling us we were under or over estimating things. In a world where many things are instantaneous our human mindset is change should be instantaneous but for GOD time is irrelevant.
Everyone is going through some sort of difficulty and for each and every one of us that difficulty feels unique to us. The thing is the vast majority of problems people have are not unique and GOD provides the means for us to work through our problems.1 Corinthians 13 is applicable here "No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it." Our problems lead to temptation, temptation leads to sin, sin leads to problems, it seems like a never ending circle. GOD won't let us be tempted beyond our level of endurance and he will also help us get through things by providing us with a way out. We just need to focus and see GOD's hand at work and take the road he is guiding us towards instead of the road we think is the best way out of our problems.
I am going through a few things currently but am amazed by GOD's absolute love when I recognise what he has done and is still doing on a daily basis for me.
