Mike I appreciate the honest review on this seat. So many people would just give it off the chart high reviews if they got a free seat but your integrity was never in question watching this. For the price it sure does seem like a good fit.

I ordered CC rider step-up clone for my softail. It did not fit perfectly, I had to ask my wife to sit on the seat while I'm latching it into place, but once installed - it was not bad. I did not provide good lumbar support, but I guess the original Saddlemen step-up with its 90 degree backrest suffers from the same issue. Overall I think this is a good option for the money

Just installed my CC rider saddleman style seat yesterday. Rode to work. So only put 50 miles on it. So far it feels great and looks great also. Black with red stiching

I got mine…a 2 up w removable passenger seat and drive back rest and out of the box it was good solid and fit and finish was great and as good ass mustang seats for less than half the cost no break in period at all good form day one firm but soft and get compliments every where I go! I will be buying more in the future…as well as I don’t hurt anymore w my bad back after an hr of riding …. FINALLY!!!
I picked up a CC Rider CVO copycat seat with orange stitching for running around town and short trips solo with my Tour Pak off. I usually use a Mustang touring seat for two up with my wife. When the seat arrived I was impressed with the feel of the seat covering and the quality of the stitching. What i was disappointed with was the cheap hardware and mounting brackets. Also there is nothing on the rear seat to protect your fender once a passenger sits on it so it cannot be used with a passenger on the rear seat without damaging the rear fender. Seeing as I was buying it for solo riding I wasn't too concerned about it for now. Where the rear seat plugs onto the two knobs that holds the front seat down the slots in the rear seat are way too wide and the rear seat flops around on the knobs. Again disappointed but as it was for solo use I wrapped electrical tape around the knobs to tighten the rear seat from wobbling. As for comfort I can ride over 200 miles with only a quick stop at a pump for gas without any hot spots making me dance around on the seat when I was at the end of the ride. It surprised me on how comfortable it is for longer rides. If they would pay more attention to hardware and the fit of the seat to the bike they would have a real winner. The little bit more attention in this area would cost next to nothing and they would have a seat that would challenge some of the big seat names.
A note on the movement where the front tab is, on my dyna street bob I have a 2up harley davidson seat and there is movement there also.
I have two Harley seats for my street glide and I don’t get any movement on the front tab with those, I don’t think it’s a big deal but I didn’t want someone complaining later and saying I didn’t mention it
I need a new cushion for me arsh. The stock on the Indian is crap. But I’ve stuck with it since 2018. I’ll have a look at the website mate. Cheers

Checked out the site......sure wish I'd known of this seat before I spent $650 on HD signature series with backrest.....actually $100 less than the big name aftermarkets

It looks good. I appreciate your honesty. I have never found a really comfortable seat. I have been using a Mustang Touring seat since 2009. I added the rider backrest to it in 2016 or 17. I still could use more comfort though.
It’s a great looking seat, been running with sundowner for like 69k miles. Still very comfortable, but some of the stitching is starting to show wear. And yes, nana’s comfort is the goal. She loves her setup, especially with the armrest.
I found a 21 Fat Boy. Unbelievable deal. I have a bunch of accessories on order for it so I can actually use it around town. I’m really impressed with the M8. It may be a little faster than my TC (considering the weight break). This may be my last scooter purchase…..until I get 100k miles on the SGS.
And yes, the seat don’t break in, your ass does. I swear, the Fat Boy seat is filled with rocks! 😂

Looks good Mike. Yea you got to ride em a while before you can really make a true judgment on them. Great job might have to check them out .😂 I’m a tight ass and just don’t have the funds to spend 7 8 hundred bucks on a seat.

Hey Mike, I believe that was a very fair review of the seat. I know it’s tough trying to compare apples to bananas. The CC seat is for style. Your custom seat is for long distance comfort.

Does it sit as low as the OEM seat?
As low or lower, it’s very close.
Seats are kinda like boots, soft sole is great for short term, but if you're in the boots all day every day you want firm
Did you know the LePara Bare Bones is a great seat.
One problem people have is not setting in the seat correcetly, did you know that rise between the rider and passanger seats is NOT a backrest......you want your butt pushing into that rise, keeping the pressure off your cheeks......this will help hold your back straight with a slight lean forward
