When this song first started playing, the melody really stuck out as pretty freakin' sweet to me. It was one of the first songs I remember really liking from the game. It's the perfect song to play during the first major boss battle in which your decisions make a big difference in the game...and your emotions.
The crazy bass line to this song required doing two separate bass tracks, layering them together. Not sure I've ever had to do that before! As usual, I left out a few instruments from the video to keep it looking nice :-]

A better way would be forcing Frisk to survive on her own in some underground-woods where the point of actual survival is.

God I love how not only is the song called ‘heartache’, it also says “toriel is acting aloof.”, and she says things like “what are you proving this way?” Meaning she doesent want to fight but she has to, and, it means that she didn’t realize you were doing what she taught you to do.
Also there's something you need to note toriel and asgore don't want to fight yet they know it's for the greater good

Absolutely love this remix. This song was hard hitting because I played Undertale like I would any other RPG at first... and when I killed Toriel, saw her heartbreaking death monologue while this song is going on, I was like: "Jesus... 20 minutes in and I'm already getting the feels..."
Then I play for a couple more hours, kill Undyne, and as she's fighting to stay determined/alive, her attacks getting weaker and weaker until I don't even have the move the curser to fend her off, while she's screaming she needs to protect her allies, I couldn't take it anymore. I restarted the game immediately to do the pacifist track. Never had whiplash like that before... such an amazing game. haha.

I’m not sure if it remembers if you restarted midway into the game but you’ve might’ve had a bit more dialogue in the game than if you did a true pacifist run first time
You only move the cursor when the game crashes and you have to restart it.

I remember when tried the genocide route when i killed toriel i felt like i was a big jerk but I didn't stop until i killed undyne i restarted the game

When I reached Undyne I died 20 times in a row and reseted, then did genocide again lol. I had to kill Paps twice ;-; and now I'm having a bad time.

Actually a lot of songs in Undertale are very similar. In fact, some songs are literally the exact same as other songs, just slowed down or sped up quite a bit. "But nobody came" the ominous background music that plays in the genocide route when you've cleared an area, is Flowey's theme slowed down by 1200%. The Waterfall theme sped up by 3, is Spear of Justice. So much of the music is interconnected.
