I became a Redwing fan in the 60's Gordie was my favorite player wore number 9 every sport I played because of my respect for him as a person and how he played the game.

People lined up forever from all over the world to pay respect for Gordie Howe. They came from Russia,Finland,Sweden...... He was a true legendary Giant in Hockey. If you take the points he scored in the WHL he would be the 2nd in points not 4th & would be way ahead in goals scored.
