दोस्तों आज अपने चारों ओर जरा एक बार नजर घुमाइए और देखिए, आपको क्या दिखता है? रोशनी के लिए बल्ब, दुनिया भर के लोगों से जुड़े रहने के लिए इंटरनेट और ना जाने कितनी आधुनिक और अद्भुत चीजें। मगर ज़रा सोचिए, कि ये सब शुरू कहां से हुआ होगा। ये आधुनिकता और आविष्कार और मानव जाति का इस प्रकार से विकसित होना। ये सब कुछ कब शुरू हुआ होगा? आप में से कुछ कहेंगे कि 100 साल पहले या कुछ कहेंगे 1000 साल पहले और कुछ हो सकता है 100000 साल पहले भी कहें, लेकिन ये सारे जवाब गलत है। क्योंकि सही जवाब आप सब की कल्पना से भी परे है, क्योंकि ये कहानी आरंभ हुई थी आज से साढ़े 400 करोड़ साल पहले।
ये कहानी है पृथ्वी की, वहां पर रहने वाले जीवन की और सबसे अहम भाग, हम इंसानों की।

पिछले एपिसोड में हमने देखा, कि हमारे सौरमंडल की रचना कैसे हुई, हमारी धरती का निर्माण कैसे हुआ। निर्माण के समय उसकी क्या स्थिति थी और बस कुछ ही वक्त में वो क्या बन गई। हमने ये भी जाना की कैसे पहले के मुकाबले आज के समय धरती पर उल्का पिंडों के गिरने की संख्या कम हो गई है और धरती पर पानी का आना कैसे संभव हो पाया ……….बाकी ग्रहों के मुकाबले सिर्फ हमारी धरती पर ही पानी क्यों उसके तरल स्वभाव में बना रहा, इन सब बातों के बारे में हम अपनी पिछली वीडियो में जान चुके हैं तो अगर किसी ने भी उस एपिसोड को ना देखा हो तो ऊपर आई बटन पर क्लिक करके वो उस एपिसोड में जा सकता है।
अभी तक हमारी धरती में जमीन, पानी और वायुमंडल तैयार हो चुका है, यहां पर ओजोन लेयर भी बनकर पूरी तरह से तैयार हो चुकी है जो हमें सूर्य की खतरनाक रेडिएशन से बचाती है। पर हमारे वातावरण में एक ऐसी जरूरी चीज है जो अभी भी धरती के इस नजारे में अनुपस्थित है, और वह आवश्यक तत्व है ऑक्सीजन। गैस के फॉर्म में अभी भी हमारे वातावरण में इतनी ऑक्सीजन नहीं उपस्थित है कि उससे किसी भी प्रकार के जीवन का विकास हो सके। हमारे वायुमंडल में मुख्यतः दो गैस इस समय उपस्थित हैं जो है कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड और नाइट्रोजन। और इस पूरी धरती में अभी तक किसी पेड़ पौधे ने भी जन्म नहीं लिया है। तो ऐसे में क्या आप अनुमान लगा सकते हैं कि ऑक्सीजन की उत्पत्ति हमारी पृथ्वी पर कैसे हुई होगी।

So in such a situation can you guess how oxygen would have originated on our earth.
