Another great titan tip. I got the nematic hose following your previous vid, I got it second hand and it came with the the sturdy metal extensions also. Keep up the mods for us titan fans. ... There is however one huge downside, no support for replacements, (tried Screwfix, tried titan spent hours on line looking for alternatives) I have the model with a drain cap, good idea, but if you're like me you put it down safe and it is so safe you can't find it. For ages now I gaffer tape it before using it!
Hi mate hoping you can help . I want to buy the silver one on the right from screwfix currently £65 I valet cars and need a longer hose could you point me In the right direction in regards to adaptors and a recommendation on 3+m hose many many thanks in advance
They're all gone Wilko. The link searches ebay for the model of the handle so as soon as they're back in stock it will continue to work. I've messaged the seller today and he assures me more are coming soon.
Any one try the hose mod on the latest Titan Vacs? Got one a few weeks ago and would like to change the rather stiff hose it comes with. How do you change the large end that fits into the vac?
I have other Titan videos with links in those video descriptions. Just be careful, as screwfix have changed some of the parts, so accessories are 35mm rather than 32mm now (for example).
Hey pal, can you pick up little stones with the cloth bag that comes with the vac? I'm starting Interior valeting business and I don't want to keep purchasing paper bags because I will spend a lot of money over the years on bags so will be using the cloth bag but I'm concerned little stones you find in footwell of a car will damage the motor when sucked up, I could get a cartridge filter I guess to protect the motor a bit more, any experience with a cartridge filter? I've seen a wet dry filter on ebay for £25 but I know you are still meant to use a bag or cloth filter over them to catch finer dust particles so I would still have to remove the cloth which defeats the purpose of getting a wet dry filter for time effiency, any thoughts dude?
I just have the wet and dry cartridge filter and use it for both. Admittedly one used for business would get more use in a week than mine does in 3 months, but a few years in and mines still going strong. It does get very dirty on the inside of the drum being wet and dry all the time, and the screws do rust. But up to now I've had no problems doing both functions with the single cartridge (I never use bags).
Hello there, I’ve just ordered from Screwfix TITAN TTB776VAC 1400W 30LTR WET & DRY VACUUM 220-240V (665KH). They’ve redesigned it with better wheel castors, so, they’re less likely to fall off when pulling the machine about from pillar to post. My question is? Will the replacement handle you’re showing here fit onto my new Titan, and which spiral hose do you recommend to fit it, and where can I purchase the spiral hose to fit the replacement handle? Lastly, I checked you’re link for the eBay replacement handles, but one is a Henry attachment, costing a bit more, and the other looks the same, but will both fit my new Titan? Thank you.
The design has changed on the new ones to a 35mm attachment rather than 32mm. However if you fit the spiral hose and the new handle it goes back to a 32mm end. I'm not certain if/how the spiral hose fits to the vac side.
@@gary7323 thanks! I've pretty been through all detailing items on the aliexpress app. I'm getting pretty good at spotting what's crap on there. I'll get on it as soon as I can, they are pretty popular vids.
@@86andyw be interested to know what you did regarding the new hose attachment I’ve got the same issue also the link for the filter doesn’t seem to fit the new vac?
No blower, I just cant see the point personally. I know others love them but for me it will never replace a towel. As for the titan... an excellent budget option if you havent got George money. Problem is at the minute Screwfix seem completely devoid of stock.
I'm aware screwfix no longer do a HEPA filter, I'm currently awaiting on a new one to come through the post, if it's good I'll link to it via a new vid.
Now that's what I call a useful video Dave. From your No 1 fan👍 If anyone deserves more subscribers its this channel, top quality honest reviews
Too kind fella. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it. 🍻

Link doesn't appear to be working, Dave. Comes up with no matches. Definitely a great upgrade. 👍

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying. I'll keep checking it. 🙂
Back up for sale on Ebay, I've got mine ordered.
@@jkirkup22 thanks for letting us know 👍👍 Just put a post up on my community page for anyone else who missed out last week. Cheers.

I know this is an older video but has anyone got a link for the replacement spiral hose? Ordered the handle without looking for a hose first😂 TIA
Nice one Dave ,don't tell anyone but i use a pink vac on my truck lol
Now why is that not a shock? 🤣🍻
@@DetailingandtheBeast it's hers not mine lol
Handy mod, thanks for sharing it.
No bother! Thanks for watching!
Is it possible to convert a titan vacuum to a 50mm hose?
You'll need step reducers but don't see why not. Why would you though? I'm interested curious by this.
Where do you get the better hoses from please.

If you can get a Titan. They are in the new catalogue but discontinued. How does that work.
I've heard the Macallister is the replacement.
Can you please do a video of some more Aliexpress bargains I really love these Dave!
I've got one planned. Trouble is it's getting more and more difficult to find them, prices seem to have rocketed just recently.

Which one is the best out of these to and is there a massif difference in suction power thanks
The silver one is more powerful, but its not by a huge amount. The silver one also holds more.
