    If you dip the plastic hose end in a cup of hot water, it becomes more maleable & easier to fit

    Hi. I'm only 4 mins in and I see you are struggling to put the hose on I recommend lining the hose or the metal bit with some applicator or washing up liquid to slide the pipe on

    • @DetailingandtheBeast
      @DetailingandtheBeast  Před 5 lety +1

      A ceramic coat would ultimately be the best thing to apply. If that's a step too far (and it is for a lot of people so no issue) then something like a high temperature wheel wax would be best. I'm not specifying a specific product because there are a few but... for a starter look at EZ car care RIMS.

    unsure if you still use this channel atall, I know you dont post, but when changing over from using this as a wet vac to suck up dry material did you find the hose/filter/inside got clogged up with dust? was you having to use two separate hoses?

  • @JoshRampling
    @JoshRampling Před 4 lety

    you should of put the flexi suction hose straight onto the new fishtail rather that make a coupling. it might make it easer to work with to with it being smaller.... maybe another vid ??

      @DetailingandtheBeast  Před 4 lety +1

      Ah but that is really tight, and this way its disconnectable quickly. Admittedly it was a right job to get it right but now it's done, it really is easy to setup and use. 👍
