  • So much emotion's running through my head as I start the CWT again. Last year I had to stop due to bad weather and I was missing a few important kit pcs. I really hope you enjoy the video series. Please give me a thumbs up :) if you did enjoy. I tried to fill the video's with wild camp spot's and information as I hike.

Hi Charles, superb stuff again mate, beautiful scenery as always in the Scottish wilderness. I believe those horses are the deer stalkers horses for bringing the dead deer off the hill.
All the best mate, keep it up

fun factoid for you. Cape Wrath is from the gaelic [cape] Parth, and "parth" means "cape". so cape wrath is "cape cape".
Hourn means "hell" so you started out at loch hell. named so for the same reason as Geln Dhu. the steep sides of the fiords make them dark and foreboding. Nevis is "heaven".
youre getting into the true highlands now. i may be biased as its where i call home.
    good luck with the weather
mind the greenhead horse flies on the Inchndamph side they will bite you through your clothes
