This is one of the best most honest interviews I ever watched .RIP Scott
And on top of that he's discussing what basically kicked off the Monday night wars.
Scott was always honest he knew that the business was a work and treated it that way
I never knew he killed a guy. It haunted him his whole life.
Am feeling that 🏝️ 2 🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲
He truly was something special. He had a GREAT mind for this business. He knew when he was being fucked over. And what he was worth. One helluva worker.
Perfect was such an invaluable friend to Hall. Perfect was an amazing pro wrestler who looked out for others. Great guy
And Scott really took everything Curt said to heart. I wish Razor Ramon and Mr. Perfect would have had a run together as tag team champs.
Scott was one of my favorites in WWF when I was a kid. If you were a wrestling fan, you knew who Razor was. I think he had one of the best theme songs ever. One of the biggest mistakes Vince ever made was not bringing back the Razor character when they came back to WWE.
Gotta love to hear Scott talk.
I love how he explains the wrestling business
Razor was such a wealth of knowledge and storytelling from the industry. It's a shame we didn't get more time with him to hear it all, but I'm happy what we do have exists.
That was a nice finish from Pat Patterson on Razors final match at the Garden..
These stories are incredible. Scott Hall gave everything he had to wrestling.
And sadly, wrestling took him away from here.
@@dr.floridamanphdno the damage he did to his health with years of drug and alcohol abuse did
@@arthurmorgan7086 which was brought on by the culture of professional wrestling that he was in.
When you work the schedule that did, doing what they do, you look for ways to cope with the pain, injuries, and lack of sleep. For them that was a nonstop cycle of drugs and alcohol.
@@arthurmorgan7086 Which could be seen as a side effect of wrestling.
@@maxxdahl6062 plenty made it without it.
This was a great interview. Scott was no dum dum
Well i look at it this way Scott. If you hadn't left their would have been no NWO. It was Vince's stubbornness that made your decision. But in hindsight it was probably THE BEST decision you could have made. Miss you brother. You were one helluva talent. And knew the dirtiness of this business MUCH better than most.
Scott was so smart
Scott is the GOAT. RIP Bad Guy.
“Say goodbye to the bad guy.” - R.I.P. Scott Hall
Kevin Nash be like: "Scott! Scotty!"
Razor came to the WWF about 5 yrs too late. By the time Scott really became popular the eras were changing. Razor would have been incredible 86- 90. Prime Razor vs Macho, Warrior, Rude, Perfect, Steamboat, Dibase, Dusty. Man it would of been awesome. No doubt he'd be in a program with Hogan as well.
He planted the seeds that began the attitude era. I think people will still be talking about him in 50 years.
The scott hall from 86 wasn't ready tho watch his gator Scott promos
He was still perfect for his time but as we can see Vince didnt handle him well later on
Scott made a mint in WCW and blew every last penny of it too, hey yo
I was just thinking that ..😊 all that extra money for him sped up everything😢
OG SCOTT HALL#1 AKA RAZOR RAMON#1 (RIP)
Vince loved Shawn Michaels too much
He was everything Vince wanted to be and everything he wanted in a son.
Boy Toy.
You mean HBK was Vince's boy toy
With good reason. Shawn never had a bad match.
Amazing how good HBK was even though he was partying and eating pills constantly
That match with Triple H sounds great
It’s funny how Hall brought up having to go to target and sign autographs for free. Then drive 200 miles to the next show.
Back in 94’ Hall and Tanaka had an autograph meet and great at the Philadelphia Racetrack. It was $5.00 a person. There had to be about 200 people there.
Hall and Tanaka were a little over an hour late. I remember Hall being real pissed off. Not happy to be there. I was 10 years old. I was petrified of him. He was a huge guy.
RIP Scott
Miss Scott so much.😢
Rip Scott hall
Sucks he's gone such a dude of dudes
Coolest dude in wrestling, rip Razor
Rip Scott Hall.
I remember watching WWF Action Zone one morning in 1996, and hearing whoever the host was (I think it was Kevin Kelly)Say that Razor 🪒 was suspended for conduct unbecoming of the WWF. What a snow job!!! They were trying to bury Scott, and make it his fault. Another example of how evil Vince can be
RIP bad guy. Sad he had overcome his demons and things were looking up for him and he passed away.
RIP SCOTT HALL AKA LAST CALL SCOTT HALL, AKA RAZOR RAMON AKA STARSHIP COYOTE, AKA TEXAS SCOTT❤❤❤
While maybe not intended, what a burial of Bret Hart. Give him the belt and he's happy to make just 400K and beat everyone. So of course Vince isn't going to pay Hall and Nash more than that and look what happened. Bret was the indirect reason WCW passed WWF in the ratings and then when Bret refused to drop the title to Shawn, he became the indirect reason WWF retook the #1 spot with inadvertently helping to create the Mr. McMahon character to butt heads with Steve Austin.
Not an accurate summation of Brett Hart
Wcw used Bret entirely wrong. No one ever saw Bret as a heel.
nWo 4Life
Hey
Yo
Yes they sold out many arenas, mark.
Every story paints Vince as an absolute scumbag. It's amazing everyone didn't have an axe to grind with him.
Ultimately it's a business, and Vince and WWE were the top of that business. It's like Scott says in the interview, even knowing that he was going to WCW, he didn't want to burn his bridges with WWE. Vince is a massive dirtbag to be sure, but you never want to cut your ties completely with someone that powerful in the business.
@@brandonwenzel2844 Yeah agreed, and it's unfortunate it's that way. Hopefully justice is served and Vince gets everything he deserves.
The lawsuits look bad for Vince. Not hard to believe the accusations.
Sold out the rass'l monopoly how dare he, what uh natural sounding wwe crowd chant
#RIPScottHall
He did better in the WCW as an in ring talent.
Vince just didn't take talent seriously
Vince understood that his talent was his product. He learned from his dad that he should bleed out whatever he could from the guys working for him, and once they were spent, or not worth it anymore, drop em. Hall was still really over at that point, but I think Vince saw him as being more trouble than he was worth. Vince also hated it when his guys tried to get one over on him in negotiations. He took that personally, and I think that's what happened with Hall.
And he paid for it when WCW overtook them in the ratings not long after. He ended up destroying wrestling less than a decade later
Hey....Yo!
If Scott would have stayed in WWF I do believe his career would have turned out even better than it was. He would have eventually won a world title
I disagree. No Scott Hall, no Nwo. No Monday night Wars that made wrestling cool and mainstream.
@@Tpckt33 Agreed, even though I think his Wrestlemania X ladder match was one of the best matches I have ever seen!
@@tylerd1090 I agree with you on that bro
Love Scott Hall but this exposed the business like no other they might as well have come out going I'm Shawn this is Paul and were just goofing around
Yeah very lame for them to come out and bro hug it out and break character , katfabe Mf’ers

Saying Bret is a mark but he's rich and Scott died broke smh
Scott was probably a lot more business savvy than Brett when it came to the wrestling side of things. Brett had a lot more personal pride that caused him issues with his career, whereas Scott knew to put the money before his pride. Unfortunately, Scott made a lot of bad decisions in his personal life that really tanked his finances. Brett obviously was smarter at holding onto his money.
At the end of the day, Razor and Diesel SOLD OUT
It is what it is and you are who you are
Only an idiot would’ve stayed in Hall and Nash’s situation. They left, made more money and were some of the most over wrestlers in history once the NWO took off
@@user-eg9ge2mw8mSo you think Taker was an idiot???
@@Nostalgia9478 What are you talking about? Taker’s situation was not the same as those two’s
At the end of the day it's a buisnes and Hall was a buisnes man. Know your role, Jabroni!
@@user-eg9ge2mw8m Wtf you talking about? How was it any different??
Taker EASILY couldve SOLD OUT and joined the NWO, but he didnt
Seemed to work out well financially for him in the long run. Staying with WWF wouldve been better for Hall/Nash in the long run as well
If it wasn't for these 4 selfish clowns , the world would never have gotten Austin as the King of the Ring and Austin 3:16 would never have happened.
Well said... Well said
Happy Razor Ramon left the WWF. The fake razor was better.
how long was he around. what a clown 🤡. marks like you are always so bitter.
