No sir. Liposuction is a body shaping cosmetic procedure. Not indicated in patients with such high BMI and significant Co-morbidities.
My Bmi is 19.5, have abs great arms, very cut in my upper body. I am a personal trainer and Athlete. My issue is my legs. Genetically hold my fat in my lower body. I would like to see my thighs tapper more at the knee. I wish to see a bit of the muscle I know is under a layer of fat on my legs! Can this be done on legs? Is my bmi to low for it? I've always been embarrassed of my legs, I still don't wear shorts unless on vacation where no one knows me.
Nutrition And Exercise have taken me very far, but this is as far as I can go without ruining my health.

Abdominal etching is thr technique ma’am. VASER is the technology. It’s not thr only technology with which etching can be done safely.

It may be possible to do it depending on body type. Ideally the BMI should be as near normal as possible.

Liposuction on the breast is not recommended Maam. For breast reduction, reduction mammoplasty is the procedure of choice.

@@abidaferdous7913 liposuction in the breast can cause the skin to fall back unpredictably. Small amounts of liposuction is acceptable, but liposuction as a sole procedure is not advised. Liposuction for enhancing the borders of the breast can be done.

My doubt is: isn't the result of hdef vaser lipo basically fake muscles? Meaning, isn't the resulting 6 pack made of fat instead of tight skin over the muscles?
Hi Paola. You are right to a certain extent. Yes we leave a layer of fat over the muscles to give them a hypertrophied appearance. But, you need to a have some muscle mass in the first place and some level of fittness. If the patient is overweight or even with good BMI but poor muscle tone, then the belly will still bulge. The abdominal muscles need to be tight and toned at least for this. Beyond this the patient has to maintain this tone to maintain the aesthetics. If the patient chooses to work out more and hypwrtrophy the muscles in concern then the results get better.
In a nutshell, it comes down to patient selection. Not every individual is a candidate. People who are candidates need to be informed prior to the procedure that it’s not a permanent solution. They will have to maintain the results.

Thank you for your comment. Sir, the criteria mentioned is just a way of helping an individual estimate their suitability. In no way does it replace clinical examination by the plastic surgeon.
Also , weight is not as significant as BMI or Body fat percentage. 200 pound woman whose BMI is 38 will be very different from a 200 pound woman whose BMI is 28. Also the distributional fat within the body is very important.
