I bought this range at Costco in 2016 Model: LDE4415ST and now it is no longer working. Both ovens and the top blew up in the evening of (02/26/20) as I was baking. For about six months I had issues with the cook top. Each time I could switch on the nob but the element couldn't turn on. What I have learned along the way is that reviews based on a new product are always not accurate. User experience is the best review. Whoever is thinking of buying one, please stay away from LG products.
Both oven doors have been locked after a self-cleaning cycle and resetting will not work. The stove has been unplugged for the past year. Any suggestions on unlocking the doors? Also when I plugged the stove in an attempt to open the door all four ignition pilot sounds off, until unplugged. Thanks!
I have a double oven Lg and I hate it! The bottom oven elements are on top !! I cannot make bread or anything that rise high because it burns on the top and it’s raw in the bottom . And it’s a convection oven . When I bought it there were no warning that the frigging elements were top ! It makes no sense !!! Now I have to buy another one and they are not cheap but I can’t really stay without an oven to bake bread !!! Now about the top smaller oven it’s fine for a tray of roasted veggies or cookies but it’s too low to bake any bread in-fact it’s lower than my small breville. I use my breville almost every day , fortunately we are a small family . Now the ceramic top is black and it get dirty just to turn on the burner to heat water ! I have to clean it constantly with the ceramic/glass cleaner and buff it to make it look decent . Before I had one with the gray color top and was easier to keep it clean . Another thing is that when you set the cooking time it starts the countdown right away instead to start when the temperature is reached ( my breville starts the countdown when it teaches the temperature, yes I am spoiled by breville!) so I don’t recommend lg to anyone!
Im lookin at this stove and i seen it was discontinued do you know why and second question i seen reviews saying upper and lower oven arent separate and upper level is just a broiler and runs all the time ... did you have the same issues

I'm trying to decide but the bottom oven is so low. It could get annoying, although I'm sure I'd probably just use the top oven. 😆

You press the "Speed Broil" setting.

The broiler for the upper ovens goes on for baking. Seen this is the signature models. Makes cookies taste very good (controlled infrared heating)
Can you use it as a toaster ? Toast bread ?
I don't see why not. Although that is a lot of energy used to toast bread.

My top oven only the Radiant heat works the bottom dose not turn on any idea
