- Bob Anderson's is know as one of the greatest impressionist in the world. The intention of this Video, is to give the younger generation a sample of how truly great the well known artists that make up "The Great American Songbook" actually were. The video shows Anderson's appearances from many of the national and international television shows he has performed on and what these legends of television had to say about his performance.
Enjoy.
👋 Bob Anderson Hi there, 🎵🎤OMG!🎶🎤 I'm so sorry I never heard of you, I can't understand how that could be, I use to watch tv when I was a kid in the mid 70's, I should of seen you on tv. But watching how amazing you were as a professional singer impersonator back in the day, your out of this world!✊ To bad you don't do shows anymore, if you did, I'd be the first in line.😉 I hope your still around. (😎😷🙋✌)
Mary thank you so much for everything you said. I am performing still I closed a few months ago from Carnegie Hall it was sold out what a fantastic feeling that was. I’ve got a bunch of places I’m going to be performing in if you go to bobanderson.com you’ll be able to see all the places I’m going to be performing in and just see a lot of things that I have done in my career thank you so much God bless you have a merry Christmas
Unbelievably talented!!! I swear when you sing, especially Tom Jones, I see him in your face and of course his mannerisms. You are so remarkable and I cannot believe I have not heard of you until now and I am 67!! Amazing you are.
Amazing impressions. Bob has all of each stars characteristics down perfectly.
NEVER SEEN/HEARD ANYTHING LIKE IT! TOP SINGER!
Mr Anderson is a great artist and vocalist in his own right, yes, he has been fantastic with the array of legends he impersonates, but in my humble opinion, this man is within the pack he impersonates, saw his show in Vegas in November of 1980 and my family and I were blown away by this man’s talent.
Bob I just heard you a few minutes ago. Absolutely amazing what you can do sir... God bless you!
Yes. No contest. The best. Ever. No contest. Why were you not all over tv? The low pay ? Well, our loss. You’re the best ever. Who ever did Nat King Cole? And sound just like him? Most of these aren’t impressions. They are spot on!
I remember you mostly from The Mike Douglas Show back in the 70s. You blew my mind when you did Bennett and then Sammy.
Wow! Great!
He's so great love his impressions some our not accurate but this is really hard to do most of his impressions are perfect rest in peace sweet bob❤
A most remarkable performer/artist- hadn’t seen video if Mr. Anderson in years. Thanks for posting! Phenomenal vocalist
And the best thing is that when he sings Bob Anderson, he's somehow the sum of all the guys he impersonates. Simply wonderful. 🎉🎉❤❤❤
There will be no more one like you, Bob. You're amazing!!! Not many people can sing one of those great artist.
At least you should be even better singer than them to be able to impersonate them.
This is the original Vegas that we all love
Hey Bob you are an amazing amazing Entertainer, I just found this CZcams channel and you popped up on it anyways very impressed, I'm a huge Dean Martin fan I mean huge I can sing pretty much like him I think you might have me beat a little bit LOL anyway I'll keep track, happy trails
Simply Great... Dublin Ireland
The best version of "Lollipops and roses" I ever heard. 🎉🎉❤❤❤
He's just amazing
The best was Ralph Rocket Toured the World as the Man of 400 voices. Could sing any singer requested, any song. I still have three cassettes of his. He sang Elvis, Buddy Holly, Ricky Nelson and then Beatles, Stones, Supremes, was truly amazing. Over 50 countries have tapes of his and yet only those who saw the show in Vegas know him. He toured USSR in 1990 and the legend is he brought the Soviet Union down by singing what the population wanted to hear, to be free. Russia was born in 1991. Like Bill Anderson, unless you were there in Vegas in 69-71 and saw The Man of 400 Voices, no one knows Ralph Rocket. I never knew his real name.
This will make you laugh this will make you cry😂🎉
I especially like his Mel Torme, Sammy Davis, and Tony Bennett... amazing...
We don’t hear of many, many super talented artists because the music producing industry ignores them. They peddle certain artists but they push a certain type or style and then that’s all you hear on radio and TV. Looking elsewhere, basically CZcams, has given me much pleasure listening and watching performances.
Truly amazing ! 👏 🎉😂
Mr Anderson you are amazing
He really looks like Mac Davis.
Soo SUPER !!
Lol amazing Tony Bennett
When I'm older I would totally see myself planning a wedding around your availability, have you ever done any private venues or weddings.
Yes I have performed for many private parties, and I perform with some of the finest Musicians in the country that I always take with me. If you are serious....please go to my web-site and you can get in touch with me by looking at SIGH UP. I WILL CALL YOU THEN
Love him from when he first started
Here are my challenges , for Mr. Anderson: Burl Ives, Shirley Temple, Eddie Cantor, and Bing Crosby. I know that Burl Ives was a decent singer...some of us would just laugh ourselves onto the floor if we could hear these impressions. Also like to hear some impressions of singers who were not singers (Lee Marvin/Wandering Star/was truly terrible, and also wonderful; Richard Burton, who could not carry a note in a bucket and was placed in a musical anyway).
Thank you...Mr. Anderson, for wonderful, strangely moving performances. Willie Nelson impression is my current favorite.
The vocal stylings of Sammy Davis singing i've gotta be me were exact. But his Tony Bennett. Uncanny.
Amazing, Sammy Davis was great this time.
The talent is his little pinky
When is he coming to Dallas tx
Great singer impressionist
I was rolling on the floor when I heard him do the Rat Pack, Tony B, u name them. Perfect renditions.
Sammy said it best, The most accurate impressionist l've ever heard!.....
👍😄🎶🎤
Mel wow
I'd like to hear you do elvis
He did here but not so good
You are one of a kind Bob.... Who knows. maybe even more talented than those you are impersonating ?
The jerry impression was funny but actually Jerry Lewis has a good singing voice
Who is in the middle? 20:59
Edit: After I paused and asked I see Des O'Connor Show and that must be who it is
It is Des O Connor show about 1980-85. Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey were regulars o0n his show.
He looks kind of like Tom baker
Great impersonations.. Talented man.
But.. he misses horribly on Elvis.
Can you do better?
@@sandyblue4235 maybe so !
Top performing presence on stage..But no real vocal quality.
Great performance, terrible crowd.
This guy is really good doing impressions, except Elvis - sorry dawng,- that was not good 😞
I'll go along with you. It was the first Elvis bit I ever did. I loved Elvis. I met him in Las Vegas when I was with Nancy Sinatra and Elvis was sitting next to us watching Ann Margret. He and Nancy were very close friends. That is how I met Elvis.
Your Dean Martin's impression is not that good.
Really?…and you felt the need to say this because ?????
I think it wasgreat be nice people
Some people are just rude
I thought he did a great job. I was thoroughly entertained.
@@sandyblue4235 They just want some attention. It's lonely in their Mom's basement!
hi everyone, I just found this person, he is fantastic. Quick Question, can mr Anderson impersonate any New artists of today, he probably can but I thought I would ask. Thanks
Hey...I am Bob Anderson and to answer your question I would say that I can impersonate many of the singers of today, but that is not what my performance is about. The artists that I impersonate were and some still are the greatest artists of all time. Singers like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole, Mel Tor 'me, Johnny Mathis, Tom Jones, Engelbart Humperdinck, Steve Lawrence, Jack Jones, Andy Williams and so many others not to mention the ladies like Eydie Gorme, Sarah Vaughn, Barbra Streisand, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Krall and many others who made the United States of America, "The Entertainment Capitol of The World" and the un fortunate thing about what has happened is that the younger generation never had the chance to see or hear these fantastic artists who sang the songs written by the greatest composers of all time like Sammy Cohan, Anthony Newley, Johnny Mercer, Marilyn and Allen Bergman, Burt Bacharach, and so many others...should get a chance to see and hear how great these artist were. Now, I am not saying that there are not any good performers of today, because there are and they are being heard on a daily basis. My goal is to give these other ones a chance to be heard, and that is what I am doing. Thank you for your interest and I hope you take the time to look those performers out. If you want to hear a little more of my work please go to BOBANDERSON.COM
Hey Mr Anderson, how are you , I was just wondering because it is amazing what you can do. I'm from Canada and never been to Vegas but I would love to come and see one of your shows . Any chance that you are coming to Canada ?
Man, and you can impersonate and do the acts of female celebrities aswell? Wow, lol, that's pretty amazing. I haven't seen a female act yet but I'm going to have a look
