Johnny DiMarco served as the main antagonist of 'Degrassi' Seasons 6-9, but redeemed himself in Season 11. The Lakehurst Gang was definitely one of the show's best villains.
To be fair, Trauma can do that to You, It takes time and many people take things differently, maybe he grew up, realized what he did was very wrong and what he was part of, and hopes to be better.
At first Spinner tried to avoid another Rick situation with Johnny and his crew, but after the cancer diagnosis that was completely off the table and he was gunning for them.
Johnny is the leader of the crew but the biggest wuss of them all. Spinner kicked his ass and the response is, Bruce is going to fight you for me lol. JT had more balls than all of them.
I absolutely hated Lakehurst, but you cannot deny they had some absolutely fantastic dialogue😂. The writers must have had so much fun writing Johnny et co

He was totally perfect before the Alli dating storyline. They ruined shit with that. But I still loved his snarky quips and demeanor. Johnny deserved better. Not the crap he got in season 8 or 9. But I'm glad he made an appearance in season 10 to give us an update on his character development. People can want change. Also, Bruce is an ugly creepy loser. Johnny shouldn't have been friends with him.

But after one of their own stabbed JT, an innocent boy to death, all because he wanted to play a joke on him, it caused a turf war between two schools. Even though the students of Lakehurst sought refugee at Degrassi after their school burned down, some aren’t willing to forgive them for what happened to JT.
Yeah THAT really made me mad the first time I saw that. You've You've that, and what he said about JT's death, and then later on they had the NERVE to make that guy sympathetic.
I always thought Bruce was just a full on creep I liked how Johnny was starting to slowly become less of a jerk in the later seasons and I actually thought him and Ali were pretty cute together
I wish Devon Bostick would've stayed longer, I really liked his character even though he wasn't around long. It would've been nice to see him become a main character like Johnny did and see his growth. But he ended up getting bigger roles so it was a win win regardless.

If Jimmy wasn't paralyzed he would helped Spinner for real and then they both can get Jay and Sean involved too. I know Craig and Dylan were gone by this time but I can't help but wonder that they would join in with the guys and Lakehurst wouldn't stand a chance against Degrassi.

Been rewatching Degrassi and wanted to see if I could find out why they just seem to ditch Nic but couldn’t find anything. Love this compilation because it really solidified my feelings of WTF happened to Nic. Seriously he was there and seemed like he was going to be the major antagonist then out of nowhere a random guy stabs JT and Nic just disappears from the storyline. I’m just gonna guess he had another role to play.
