After his retirement, Fifa brought in VAR, during his time officiating as a central ref, his bulging eyes could see every offsite , rough tackle, hand balland and what have you. His imposing physique and allopacia totalis with his ingenuity in the field of football made finale he officiated so intense. He is not like Anthony Taylor and other England refs.
He is a prof! Wishing him good health.
They don’t make referees like him anymore he was one of the greatest referees of all time the respect that this man was shown by the players and fan was massive

That's not the only reason, the other big reason Is that "ultras" , the groups of fanatics of teams, are usually as violents as the most violent you can think, usually they're also affiliated with mafia ,with others criminal organizations or with political forces. Touching football in Italy Is like touching our culture, it's really complicated.
