Y'know, interesting thing that happened that year... I actually met Reggie when I was doing this summer program at DigiPen Institute of Technology the summer before high school, which his daughter was also attending. We talked about E3, and I mentioned this commercial, and his daughter told me "I will never let him live that down." It was the highlight of that summer. True story.
I think it looks dangerous to play this, but I would just put it on a table, turn it on and run out of the room and hope that it shoots out link shields and swords all over the floor by the time I come back. I think that would be worth the price.

Definitely! I've had the 3DS since launch, and I never stop having fun with it. With brilliant games like Super Mario 3D Land, Kid Icarus Uprising, and Resident Evil Revelations, along with great built in software. You can't go wrong!
this is such an unbelievable device, got it the day it was released. It still works fine and not to mention all the sick games and applications you use. OH HELL YES, THE 3DS IS AMAZING
I finally got a Nintendo 3DS a couple days ago :) I currently have the Sims 3 for it. I absolutely love it! The 3D screen is mind blowing if you use it correctly. :)
I really love Shigeru Miyamoto, without him we wouldn't have mario or donkey kong, or even the legend of zelda. He's awesome. I can't wait until the Nintendo 3DS comes out because i am counting down the days.
This was around the time when people hated the 3DS because its price and lack of games. Almost 10 years later and most kids have at least one variant of the 3DS. I'm glad the 3DS picked up steam after a year on the market. The $100 price cut, Zelda: OOT 3D, and Super Mario 3D Land saved the 3DS before it could die. If they would've taken any longer, then the failure of the Wii U mixed with the failure of the 3DS would have killed Nintendo as a company and we'd be playing Smash Bros Ultimate on PS4 and Xbox One.

I got my 3ds (Aqua blue) the week of its release, I remember I was so psyched, I still have it today. Now with smash bros, new pokemon games, zelda, I love it even more! I have new games as well as the ones I purchased 3 years ago. The 3ds is awesome!
