Transit systems look nice. Attendants for elevators/boarding trains, very clean, safety barriers on the platform to prevent falling onto tracks.
The street scene: Is that a typical small street or was it located in a touristy area. Saw the curbs, didn't see any curb cuts for WC access.
That cotton candy 🤯 insane how huge it was. The pic of you holding it gave perspective. Waaay too much sugar for me 😆.
The view from up high in the tower was impressive. Didn't fully realize how large the city actually is. And yes, the gradual slope of the walkway would be very tiring trying to get up as well as speed braking WC going down.
That fashion show was part of a disabilities expo, do I understand that correctly?
How did you like that WC you used for the show? I've seen them before, they look practical but not as maneuverable as a manual WC.
That WC from Toyota looked interesting. A prototype? Probably expensive.
As far as the short fashion show clip. If it is ok to say so, you looked good, very elegant.
Hopefully, there's more from you about Japan to show later. I enjoyed watching this and seeing how things are in Japan for those of us who use WC. 👍

Yes, that is a typical street but also touristic because of small shops for souvenirs, also like a transit street.
The cotton candy was way too much sugar and I had to eat it on my own because my boyfriend does not like it.
Yes, the fashion show was part of the disabilities expo. They celebrated also 50th years of anniversary.
I think is a prototype the wheelchair from Toyota because they told us is unique.
The wheelchair I had I would not have in my daily life, at least in the area where I live and with my kind of disability. If my legs gets in spasms I can't handle as I do in my manual wheelchair. Of course it will make moving around much easier because it is electric but way too big to put it in the car, at least my car. So, I think for someone that uses public transport to move around it is a great option. It has also the option to adjust the position of the back support or cushion from the phone.
Japan is worth to visit at least once in a life also for people with disabilities.

@@SandraHwheelchair Touristy area then. So you ate it all, huh😬? I'm with him, I'm not a fan of cotton candy either lol. Toyota WC looks innovative but like you said, not practical for most people. Whole thing is probably very heavy. I like ultralight WC, easier to get in and out of a vehicle, can be disassembled for convenience, most importantly not having to worry about batteries, etc. Hopefully, since it was a disabilities expo you had a chance to look around. Japan appears to design for accessibility, is a good thing. Cool vid. Have a blessed day...

@lj8902 Yes, ultralight wheelchairs are more practical, like you say. Sadly, I did not get to see the other side of the expo because there was no time for that, but who knows, maybe I will go another time back. Have a blessed day, too!

Hi there! I would take your comment as a compliment but I want to let you know that I actually met my boyfriend before my accident. It was just that we saw each other and later on after my accident we actually started to talk. I don't consider that I'm out of no ones league.
