- In this episode of WORDS OF POWER, I am joined by my childhood friend and MANOWAR bandmate of 40 years, Eric Adams. Eric started his musical career at 9 years old and soon became a successful child performer. You will hear how Eric discovered his love for music, the trials and tribulations he was confronted with as a young adult, and how his upbringing and work ethic helped him fulfill his life’s dream. More in the next episode.
My goal with this channel and all I do is to inspire and encourage people to bring out the best in them. We are all capable of living a powerful life! We just have to focus on the things that matter: integrity, friendship, loyalty and commitment!

After almost 35+ years of listening to music, reading interviews of several band members, meeting musicians and all, I gotta say this.... Of all people in the music industry, Eric must be my favourite individual....man, I really love this guy...such a calm voice, sounds like a man at peace with himself....even amongst haters of ManowaR, I haven't heard not ONE SINGLE person talking crap about Eric...that says a lot....May he always be safe and healthy and strong, for many many years to come....Manowar for life...Joey, that was pure joy man! Thank you so much for the music and all!!! Can't actually imagine you not playing great, even when you got your first guitar! Looking forward to the new Manowar release and next show in Greece in 2024.with MAB, love to all!!

WHAT I RESPECT ABOUT MANOWAR AND ALWAYS HAVE IS THAT THE MEMBERS NEVER WERE FAKE. THEY WERE NOT FULL OF SHIT PUTTING ON A DISHONEST IMAGE, THEY WERE REAL AND LIVED WHAT THEY SANG ABOUT.
THEY TOOK ME THROUGH MY HIGH YEARS AS A VERY ISOLATED TEENAGER AND ALL THE WAY UNTIL NOW I DON'T GO A DAY WITHOUT LISTENING TO THEM.
ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR LIVES AND EVERYTHING THAT COMES FOR ALL THE WORK YOU DID, YOU DESERVE IT. MANOWAR IS IN MY BLOOD FOREVER.

I was at the '64 Worlds Fair but all I remember is the dinosaur exhibit and the monorail. It would be wild if I saw Eric's band while there.

Eric is not only a great singer blessed with an amazing voice but also a very kind person. I met him in 2005 at the convention and he was so kind and nice. I love hear you and Eric talking. I feel like I can sit with you two hours and hours listening and talking like we were old friends (well, for me you are as I'm a fan for over 20 years). All the episodes of words of power podcast are inspiring and I hope there will be more to come. Eventually that will happen. We have tried to document our career pretty meticulously right now we do have a pictorial history of the early years of the band it’s called the blood of the kings.
