I think 3are great. Iam in the UĶ and you have told me a lot about about fishing. I am a pensioner and every penny counts. BEING ABLE TO FEED MYSELF means a lot. Thanks my friend. You look after yourself and best wishes to you and your family Ì WILL NOT SEE ANOTHER Christmas but i will follow you in the hope i can catch enough fish to feed my family for ae long as i am able too GODBless you my friend and look after you and yours?
I how God blesses you in every way mate
I'm 59 yrs old and have used all 3 knots my whole life, the fishermans knot is great for smaller hooks
On the easy snail knot I putt super glue on mine just in case it does want to loosen up. It won't with super glue. Great video my friend.
Dude, your videos make my day. Humor with education is the best.
Thank you Sir
Dude, you crack me up. So proud to be a member of this elite group. LOL
Great knot tying guide. I've been using all of them for years.
😁
Thanks mate, always entertaining and down-to-earth. Love yor channel. Thanks for the info. 👀 Watching from east coast of Australia. 🙏
That's awesome mate . I appreciate it
Where are you at Joel? I'm on the Sunshine Coast north of Brissy.
@@joeljacq7486 noice!
Yup, been looking for better knots, I like em. Thanks for being you.
Thank you Sir
Very good video my friend and I'm feeling so lucky to belong to such a noble and exclusive group!
Haha 😄 you in da Club bruh lol
Thanks for the knot lesson. This is the first time my granddaughter beat be watching a fishing video.
She reminded me AGAIN, of a fish she lost in a kid fish tournament, because my knot failed. That was 4 years ago, and I’m still catching heat over it. Lol
Lol that's the same way I learned lol my buddy cussed me out haha
Bill, you’ll catch heat forever! My youngest never lets me forget “losing” his “catfish”...it was a mudfish and I lost it intentionally when dehooking! My two older boys remind me of losing “their” Chesapeake blue fish when the hook broke...that was in 1988!
I got bad eyes and clumsy fingers. Im 38 today. Vison isnt getting better so will for sure try this out . Always good to have solid knots in your back pocket.
I feel your pain 😞
Oh man, the adventure has only begun. LOL There's a reason the call it "over 40 vision".
67, been wearing bi-focals 44 years,LOL
Favorite fishing channel HANDS DOWN! I've learned so much given last year was my 1st season fishing. Your fabrication skills & ingenuity are unparalleled. Thanks for all the great content & uploads!
I appreciate that , I really do
I like it when he says.... so stick around 😄
Lol . Iys funny a couple of people at with do that every time they see me lol
That knotless knot is my absolute favorite for catfish, Palomar knot for anything bass fishing.
I agree
@@FishinNStuff you should do a video on tying on swivels, weights, leaders, etc.
The fisherman’s knot was the very first knot I learned. It’s actually the only knot I ever used until I started watching catfishing on CZcams. Now I use all three of these. Great video and instructions.
The way you tie the Fisherman's Knot by doing the second loop through the eye is actually called the Trilene Knot and is my all time favorite knot for tying on hooks. Keep up the videos brother, I keep looking for new ones all the time.
Number 3 is the one I've used for 40 years but I will be using number 2 now
The Palomar is easy and strong , thank you for watching brother
Same 3 knots I have always used.... Really like your channel and they have gave me lots of great ideas...
Thank you Sir
As far as tying to a hook, swivel ,lure. These will do the trick every time. They still do the trick. I use a few more ,but these are my go to knots.
The uni is a good one too but the Palomar has to be #1
@@FishinNStuff Your right.
👍👊I like the uni knot on mono and fluro up to 40, then improved clinch knot on 50 lb test and higher. FG braid to leader.
Thanks for the video.
Palomar is my favorite!!
That knothead sure knows what he's doing. Keep it up.
Lol
Whatcha waitin onee! 😂
We can always use a refresher on our knots.
I hadn't seen that Klinch knot you tied till just now! We learn something new every day! Awesome video 📷
Thank you
I believe you are the number one ..
Those really are 3 great knots
I just can't understand those 2 unlike...this man is the most hilarious on the tube...has very smart diy ideas...but has definetly the most amusing way to present them.... what else do u want..
Thank you Sir
Its really good to have a couple of good knots that you like to tie .. sort of signature knots.. Now that raaaght there is Oh-some !!
Lol
The improved clinch knot has one more step over the clinch. I think it works as well. Keep up the good videos. You might also go over how to make a non-slip knot knot.
I don't normally do these type videos. It was a learning experience filming it lol . Thank you for watching brother
Improved clinch knot is a little stronger, but leaves the tag facing the wrong direction as far as catching on grass and such. Worth knowing them both.
I'm using that first leader knot this spring- thanks!
Your videos are awesome they have given me the inspiration to go back in my garden shed here in sunny Scotland and make stuff
Thank you Sir
@@FishinNStuff just made 2 rig wallets out of duck tape and press seal bags. Thanks for the hack
The knotless knot is a definite for me on circle hooks, much better hookup ratio in my opinion
I agree
Can't figure out why their is someone that gave a thumbs down I thought it was a awesome video easy to see with the paracord and blue gill hook
Thank you . You know your the only one that knows a blue gill hook when you see one lol
Fantastic video, as usual, but using the para cord, and man sized hook, I'd fantastic. Also demonstrating using the fly tying vise and fishing line completes this tutorial.
Will be sharing this with members of my fishing club!
Thank you brother. I've never did a video like it . It was a learning experience
@@FishinNStuff, well, I for one think it was a great one. So much so, I highly suggest you consider doing more!
Thanks again!
Love the video. Would like to see a video with you and the greatest pro angler ever Mr Clarence. That would be a hoot. Keep them coming, Brother.
I got him started lol he was on one of my videos before he ever made his channel. And your right he's a Pro!!!
This is it , the first one I mean
czcams.com/video/jP1wEqqzo4M/video.html
And he's been on 3 more of my videos
I use 2 out of the 3 knots. I'm going to learn that Snell knot. I like that. Looks like a sure enough good tuff knot. Thank Man you done good 👍
Thank you Sir
The Snell Has Alotta Benifits ,I Use A Snell On my Plastic Worm etc,, Hooks , I've had better hook up ratios since I been doing it ,pretty much all live Bait except for my circle hooks are always snelled and Sometimes those are too ,I like that Knot ,I use the other two as well ,the polymer is easy at night and like some more the Eyes are not exactly what they used to be ,it's a Easy Knot To Tie ,I usually make a few Leaders up at least a couple extras I usually break off at least a couple of times anyway ,I tie the Snelled Leader at Home usually ,
I have used the no knot snell for circle hooks for a long time. Great knot. I use the Palomar knot for the main line end of the swivel on a santee rig. The only one I don't use is the clench knot. I use 80 pound mono leaders so I use the heavy mono knot for that on the leader end of the swivel. Thanks for sharing brother. Appreciate all the knowledge you share. tight lines...
I use those the most too . But when you can't tie a Palomar the clinch is the same knot strength as the Palomar. But the Palomar is my go to
Used all these they are all good knots very dependable
Thanks for the knots Keith!!! You missed Step #4 (3:52) on the Fisherman's Knot when you used the rope (4:21). You forgot to bring the end back through the large loop before you cinch it down. Great video!
Great video, enjoy watching.
The clinch knot is the exclusive knot that I use to secure the swivel to my mainline.
I fish for big cats only and i frequently missed fish i shoild have hung. Then i read an article about snelling my hooks. I found the best way for myself to snell the 8,0 and 11,0 circle hooks i use. Immediately i noticed i rarely missed a fish. I snell all my big hooks now.
I agree 100 %
Your the man Keith!!!!
Nice one.. Some great tips . All the best from the other side of the pond 🇬🇧....
Thank you Sir
I've watched every single DIY video you have made. Unfortunately I don't have a bass boat. I really love your videos but I'm asking for a favor is there anyway you can do some more DIY videos for us shore fishers like myself?? I do ALOT of night fishing and your videos have definitely came in handy for myself and has saved me a few bucks!!
Yes Sir what do you like fishing for ?
@@FishinNStuff I love catching just just about anything that gives a good fight, but carp fishing is at the top of my list right now! The fight those bad boys give is what I love, so anything your willing to share or tips would be great!! You are my GO TO FISHIN N STUFF BIBLE!!! THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT VIDEOS AND LAUGHS!!
Thank you that means a lot
The clinch knot is the only one I’ve known till lately when I’ve been trying to learn more
I don't know what they're waiting on either.. best fishing DIY channel on the youtubes TA-Day and every other day.
Thank you
My 3 favorite and most used knots also. Good info Brother.
Thank you brother
Important to know that the Palomar knot doesn't slip when you're using braided line.
@@Mr4twitch -- Early super lines (braid) slipped like crazy. An improved clinch knot wouldn't hold...had to be a Palomar. Newer braids and fusion type lines are much better about slipping.
Awesome
Video i am a huge fan
Watchin from Switzerland . Keep it up buddy , I really like your DIY stuff
Thank you Sir , that's awesome
This was great! Thank you!
Can you share some super easy knots for tying braid to mono??? I have such a hard time with the double uni and would love a few alternatives!!!
Lube.... ?Spit on it😂😂😂 AWESOMENESS 💪🇺🇸😝
Next time you make one of this videos you should include the uni knot! Great vids
my first husband a greek boy used the first knot but now i use the fishermans lknot
Great knots, Great channel.
Another great video.I was just trying to learn the snell knot and your video was very good and well done👍
Thank you Sir
This man is the definition of home depot 😂
Probably a Home Depot and Wal-Mart right around the corner from him!
@@Mr4twitch go fuck yourself
@@beckyzimmerman1915
I'm with ya on that Becky!!
I invented that 40 years ago crazy how did it get way out there. Crazy. !!!!!
Now, that right there is fact. The Truth & Nothing but the Truth.
Eating catfish, homemade hushpuppies and baked taters for Valentines day today!
Mmmm
Good to see ya. I have used the knot less knot a few times but when I hook a big fish my pacemaker shifts up a gear or two I just don’t trust it. So I use the fisherman’s knot instead . It just looks like it will slip to me. Thanks for the reassurance I will keep on trying it
I've caught 60s on em and never had a problem. But I know what you mean I didn't trust em for years . Plain ol logic tell you they shouldn't work but they do lol
Knot #2 is my go to knot!!! Great instructional video my guy!!!
Thank you
Fishermens knot is one uve used for over 20 years and its never failed me. But i use the Palomar knot on braid more than mono.
My 1st knot was the fisherman's (bimini twist) but doesn't work on Braded line. Uni-knot is a grest 1 as well. Good stuff 👍🎏
awesome video, i prefer the nail knot for the snell though
I use those knot's all the time. Thanks for all the help you give to us. Keep them coming
Really enjoying the videos. Keep up the good work
That last knot is really a blood knot. Which is the first knot kids learn to tie because it is the strongest.
Knots are great
Always love your contents! Very helpful as usual.
Thank you
These knots are great! The first one I learned was the fisherman's knot and I still use it about 70% of the time. It's the only one I can tie in the dark!
another amazing video!
I ran offshore charters out in the Gulf of Mexico for about 10 years and these THREE knots were the ones I most often used! Never, never did I have one of MY knots come loose . A fish can come off, and that is unfortunate. But a knot coming loose....will ruin a perfectly super trip! (Unless some smart A$$ wants to tie his own knots cause he knows a lot more than me..........B/S ! )
Good Stuff Man! Happy Fishing!
Palomar, figure 8 & uni... all I ever use, and the uni I only used once.
The Palomar is the strongest of the 3 according to google . I use it the most too
@@FishinNStuff Figure 8 is really handy for snelling hooks, Palomar on the other end. never had either one come loose or break. Best to stick with what works for me. BTW, really like what you do on this channel.
@@ratoneJR thank you buddy, I agree with what works . But at the same time .if I never tried new ones I would have never tried the Palomar knot . I only heard of it 15 years ago .
Thank you so much I really love your videos...
Thank you
I use the palomar knot for just about everything. Its fast and simple.
Thank you
again another great video can't wait for your next DIY
It's good to see you again man! Thanks for another great video and I wish I was on the East Coast hanging out there fishing with y'all! We got too much snow here in the White Mountains of Arizona🥶
Hopefully you can find a way out of there 🤣🤣
God willing, I'll be there sooner rather than later!
@@mpt786 hahahaha
The fisherman's (cinch) knot is what I've been tying since I was a little boy. I still use it on my rod and reels set ups. However I use a variation of the Palomar knot on my trot line drops and bank sets.
Fisherman knot is and always has been my go to knot. Keep up the good work, love this channel.
I 💘LOVE💖the first knot you showed! IT's far easier than the knot I have been using to tie my hooks with! Every year, I'd have to re-watch a video to relearn to snell my leaders. That knot's so easy, even I can remember how to tie it.
The fisherman's knot it's my go to knot. Though after seeing your snell knot I'm going to try that
I like Snelling , works best with live baits or cut
All good!
Best knot video I have seen
Thank you
Your the man! I love your videos! Have you thought bout a diy battery holder in the back of the boat? Thanks buddy!! Keep them videos coming!
That's a thought
If anyone could do it you can!
Awsome. Looking forward to your next build
I used #3 all the time....
Good stuff as always!
Another great video!!!
Maybe people aren't subscribing because they can't afford it? I only have 17 payments left for my subscription! Well worth it!
Honestly I believe some people really don't know its free lol . And a lot of people don't even make an account, they just watch
I'm just joking around any way . Cause it's fun lol
another great video!!
Tell it brother! Your right on the mark. Only three knots u need to know.
Great instruction as always for us elite members.
Lol
I use the first knot for cats and the 2nd knot for bass... I'm also making my own lures rod leashes and sinkers... Love the videos man
Thank you . I do the samething lol
Nice job!
LOVE THE VIDEOS
Palomar and fisherman's my faves
Awesome 👍
That's knot a good video it's an AWESOME video!!!!!
