    I think 3are great. Iam in the UĶ and you have told me a lot about about fishing. I am a pensioner and every penny counts. BEING ABLE TO FEED MYSELF means a lot. Thanks my friend.     I'm 59 yrs old and have used all 3 knots my whole life, the fishermans knot is great for smaller hooks

    On the easy snail knot I putt super glue on mine just in case it does want to loosen up. It won't with super glue. Great video my friend.

    Thanks for the knot lesson. This is the first time my granddaughter beat be watching a fishing video.
    She reminded me AGAIN, of a fish she lost in a kid fish tournament, because my knot failed. That was 4 years ago, and I’m still catching heat over it. Lol

      Bill, you’ll catch heat forever! My youngest never lets me forget “losing” his “catfish”...it was a mudfish and I lost it intentionally when dehooking! My two older boys remind me of losing “their” Chesapeake blue fish when the hook broke...that was in 1988!

    I got bad eyes and clumsy fingers. Im 38 today. Vison isnt getting better so will for sure try this out . Always good to have solid knots in your back pocket.

    That knotless knot is my absolute favorite for catfish, Palomar knot for anything bass fishing.

    The fisherman’s knot was the very first knot I learned. It’s actually the only knot I ever used until I started watching catfishing on CZcams. Now I use all three of these. Great video and instructions.

    The way you tie the Fisherman's Knot by doing the second loop through the eye is actually called the Trilene Knot and is my all time favorite knot for tying on hooks. Keep up the videos brother, I keep looking for new ones all the time.

    As far as tying to a hook, swivel ,lure. These will do the trick every time. They still do the trick. I use a few more ,but these are my go to knots.

    👍👊I like the uni knot on mono and fluro up to 40, then improved clinch knot on 50 lb test and higher. FG braid to leader.

    The improved clinch knot has one more step over the clinch. I think it works as well. Keep up the good videos. You might also go over how to make a non-slip knot knot.

      Improved clinch knot is a little stronger, but leaves the tag facing the wrong direction as far as catching on grass and such. Worth knowing them both.

    The knotless knot is a definite for me on circle hooks, much better hookup ratio in my opinion

    Fantastic video, as usual, but using the para cord, and man sized hook, I'd fantastic. Also demonstrating using the fly tying vise and fishing line completes this tutorial.

      The Snell Has Alotta Benifits ,I Use A Snell On my Plastic Worm etc,, Hooks , I've had better hook up ratios since I been doing it ,pretty much all live Bait except for my circle hooks are always snelled and Sometimes those are too ,I like that Knot ,I use the other two as well ,the polymer is easy at night and like some more the Eyes are not exactly what they used to be ,it's a Easy Knot To Tie ,I usually make a few Leaders up at least a couple extras I usually break off at least a couple of times anyway ,I tie the Snelled Leader at Home usually ,

    I have used the no knot snell for circle hooks for a long time. Great knot. I use the Palomar knot for the main line end of the swivel on a santee rig. The only one I don't use is the clench knot. I use 80 pound mono leaders so I use the heavy mono knot for that on the leader end of the swivel. Thanks for sharing brother.       I use those the most too . But when you can't tie a Palomar the clinch is the same knot strength as the Palomar. But the Palomar is my go to

    Thanks for the knots Keith!!! You missed Step #4 (3:52) on the Fisherman's Knot when you used the rope (4:21). You forgot to bring the end back through the large loop before you cinch it down. Great video!

    The clinch knot is the exclusive knot that I use to secure the swivel to my mainline.

    I fish for big cats only and i frequently missed fish i shoild have hung. Then i read an article about snelling my hooks. I found the best way for myself to snell the 8,0 and 11,0 circle hooks i use. Immediately i noticed i rarely missed a fish. I snell all my big hooks now.

    Important to know that the Palomar knot doesn't slip when you're using braided line.

      @@Mr4twitch -- Early super lines (braid) slipped like crazy. An improved clinch knot wouldn't hold...had to be a Palomar. Newer braids and fusion type lines are much better about slipping.

    Good to see ya. I have used the knot less knot a few times but when I hook a big fish my pacemaker shifts up a gear or two I just don’t trust it. So I use the fisherman’s knot instead . It just looks like it will slip to me. Thanks for the reassurance I will keep on trying it

    Fishermens knot is one uve used for over 20 years and its never failed me. But i use the Palomar knot on braid more than mono.

    My 1st knot was the fisherman's (bimini twist) but doesn't work on Braded line. Uni-knot is a grest 1 as well. Good stuff 👍🎏

    That last knot is really a blood knot. Which is the first knot kids learn to tie because it is the strongest.

    These knots are great! The first one I learned was the fisherman's knot and I still use it about 70% of the time. It's the only one I can tie in the dark!

    I ran offshore charters out in the Gulf of Mexico for about 10 years and these THREE knots were the ones I most often used! Never, never did I have one of MY knots come loose . A fish can come off, and that is unfortunate. But a knot coming loose....will ruin a perfectly super trip! (Unless some smart A$$ wants to tie his own knots cause he knows a lot more than me..........B/S ! )

      @@FishinNStuff Figure 8 is really handy for snelling hooks, Palomar on the other end. never had either one come loose or break. Best to stick with what works for me. BTW, really like what you do on this channel.

    The fisherman's (cinch) knot is what I've been tying since I was a little boy. I still use it on my rod and reels set ups. However I use a variation of the Palomar knot on my trot line drops and bank sets.

    I 💘LOVE💖the first knot you showed! IT's far easier than the knot I have been using to tie my hooks with! Every year, I'd have to re-watch a video to relearn to snell my leaders. That knot's so easy, even I can remember how to tie it.
