This has to be my most anticipated weekly youtube channel. For many of us with a passion for fishing, this is a great channel. Very clever ideas and almost always trying to bring up ideas that just about anyone can do. I can't wait to see what's next. Many thanks for all the effort you put into your channel.... Joe from Augusta Georgia...

Love the hacks. Being a DIY'er myself I just made an overhead rod holder from 2 - 1×4's in my garage over my boat. Now I can back my boat in and stand in my boat and hang my rods up. Plus I mounted my charger on the rafters and charge my batteties. All from the inside of my boat...sweet.

Great HACKS Keith. You have my mind spinning with all the things I need to be working on. I've always been a believer in pliers weakening a hook I throw a lot of hooks away after unhooking just a few fish. Thanks for sharing and keep the videos coming.

This has become my second favorite CZcams channel, even though I don't get to fish much any more because I'm 81, and I've slowed down a whole bunch. But it's also one of the funniest channels out there, especially if you turn on the CC to get the captioning! What that automatic captioning does to that accent of yours is often hilarious! I've been making spoons out of plastic and metal spoons. For at least 45 years, from the age of 12 years old. I watched someone who had been making them, years before me. Here in the UK. I would tend to use a T bar, for unhooking fish. That way your not scratching your hook and using the fishes weigh to remove the hook. Little tip also for spotting your knot in your anchor line. Spray it white, use bright shrink tubing or pass a bright coloured line through the knot and tie in. I really enjoy your fishing hacks and have made some reel covers. Using your design. Take care, stay safe. Tight line! David

I love the draggin weights dipped in Plasti-dip. I've made em for years using hollow core boot laces and sz 5 split shot sewn shut on each and. Your method is so much easier. Also, if I'm fishing where I know there's lots of bad snags I'll use old spark plugs for weights. If you lose one of those nothing really lost. A 2 or 3 oz lead weight cost good money unless you make your own. Throw the old spark plugs in a tub of soapy water then rinse to get grease and oil off before using them. DON'T POLLUTE WITH PETROLEUM PRODUCTS.

Now I done learned something . That's a great idea , heating up a razor blade . That's how i make holes in paracord with a hot nail . Why didn't I think of that lol

I use the handle also on your spoon hack,it looks like a long bait it cast alot further and during a striper feeding frenzy you can catch some nice fish

I prefer sporks over spoons. Fish are used to seeing spoons, but ain't never seen nothing like a spork. They can't resist!
