- Hello Broducers!
In this tutorial I'm showing you how to achieve #analog sounding #303 #acid leads. I'm gonna use Serum to create my base sound but you can basically use any of the VST to get the similar sound.
And the key thing to get the analog vibe is using analog sounding distortion plugins. For this we'll use 2 of the guitar pedals. One is a booster and the second one is a distortion pedal. Both of them free. You can find the download links below.

*How to make House sidechain in Fruity Love Philter:*
• Load up default patch
• Turn on HQ envelopes (less clicking)
• Turn off oversampling (saves CPU)
• Set Filter type to OFF
• Enable Tempo on Vol Envelope
• Make a bar long LFO curve
• Make sure you set the start and endpoints to loop your LFO
TIP: If you want to move off-grid, you can always switch off the green magnet button on the bottom-right of the grid.
140 is rippin fast for an acid track.
How you made your own samples? 😯
Layer them, process them and save as sample 👌😃
Please make a progressive house like yotto 🙏 anjunadeep
The real problem here is not "sounding analogue" or not, it's a very dull melody, too much sidechain and too little variation, you'd also usually add some automation for the resonance or low pass/ high pass filter.
Instead of fiddling with a dozen effect plugins for 15 minutes, rather do the basic tune right. Also I could've gotten the same result with a 290€ hardware synth and a cheap overdrive guitar pedal in less than 2 minutes and it would've been way more fun.
