Everyone always neglects my favorite Opinel. The #8 Jardin (Garden) in stainless.. it has a spear point and because of the blade and handle shape, can be opened with one hand.
@@TheStreamingEnderman hey man, the garden opinel is available again on amazon rn for $18. I baked the handle in mine with olive oil and now it looks super sexy, almost like a walnut handle.
Oh interesting what you point out about the different color beach wood between the carbone and stainless steel blades. I've been confused by seeing the knives on photos with the different handles where oak looked lighter then the beach wood handles but your video clearly shows otherwise! I just bought my first Opinel, a stainless n 8. Will use that while camping mainly for cutting food. But now I want a 6 as my EDC. Keen to try one with a carbone blade, unfortunately then don't give carbone different handle options.. Nice video! :D EDIT: my only complaint would be that mine is a little stiff to open and lock. Is there any way to improve that? I don't want to just start spraying around with WD40 around the wood.
@@TheStreamingEnderman I gave out a Suggestion to your knife and reviews channel to be called "Enderman Reviews" but to just keep the gaming related stuff on this channel.my bad for not being clear on what I meant
Surprisingly Opinels. Laguioles are nice as steak knives/conversation/prestige carry knives, but I always prefer simplicity and usability. Plus, Opinels are a tiny portion of the price on a Laguiole.
What do you think of Opinel?
idk im watching these to decide on the no9
"...this is a good knife for a Farmer, or a Hunter.. or a... Madman." 😀

I tried getting one, they sold out...
I recently got that one and love it. The handle shape is super comfortable. It’s a perfect food prep pocket knife.

Enderman Reviews? , keep the game reviews on the gaming channel :)
As in don't do gaming here? I'm a tad bit confused as to what you mean.

Hm, good idea.
I just stick with the no8 personally
Opinend is good name
Can find the padouk opinel no 8 anywhere. :-( just the oyster version.
Try kentofinglewood.com
Where do you get your opinels?
I get them from a selection of places. Most importantly, Kent of Inglewood.
@@TheStreamingEnderman Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll take a look!
If you have to choose, laguioles or opinels?
