Hey! thx for your tutorials. I have a question; i need to push the pivot of a static mesh to the bottom too. This static mesh is made from a datasmith file. Unfortunaly i don't have the import controls like you showed in this tutorial. Do you have any idea how to do it in a different way. Very annoying problem for me currently. Thanks!

So how do i get the pivot to rotate properly when I rotate an object. Seems like it's stuck in it's original 0-0-0 state and when an object is rotated the pivot doesn't rotate with so it's hard to move the object properly because the pivot is slanted

The reimport method fixes my problem, thanks a lot!

Can somebody explain why it is so hard for Epic to do such simple pivot adjustment? Every single 3d app I know does not have such issue. This is completely ridiculous what Epic has done.

Select all objects-right click-set pivot by mass-refuse to elaborate further - leaves
      -blender

Hello there, do you know if it's possible to set the pivot point in blender (very precisely) and import it in Unreal engine 5? Thank you. I love your channel!!

I just found out that I need to change my FBX's transform (Maya for example) settings as it uses a different axis...

Looks good, but it´s not working on my UE5. It failed to reimport. I found this video because I only want to rotate my Pivot-Point 45 Degree. Because if I want to move a wall straight to the side I have to move it with grid and then do f.e. 3 steps x and 3 steps y to move straight to one side because all other objects are 45 degree to the starting direction. Maybe I missed something because I am a complete beginner. All in all I think this video here shows what I want from 5:00 on. But I also don´t see "show pivot" and rotating and reimport is not possible with a mesh (cube) in my UE5. My goal is to rotate pivot points on brushes.

When I press re import + lods it makes me go through my entire pc to find that one file that I have 0 clue where to find it. Your one just instantly saves. You didn't have to search at all.

To be fair, the asset pivot points should be set up correctly in the first place by the prop artists. There really shouldn't be any need to set these up in UnrealEd for basic floor snapping etc. Still extremely useful for re-positioning them when you need to though.
