      It's a great grill. Definitely get the hose to attach the full size tank. Those little Coleman tanks don't last long. Good luck!

    18% is the bare minimum when it comes to burgers on a bbq/grill but I'm actually pretty sure you can get away with 15% on a Q.
    Specially since I'm thinking about getting one for on the go, fishing trips and what not, during the summer here in Iceland.
    Not to mention the small space it takes up in the storage.
    Thanks for all the vids, been a blast to see what you can do on these things :)

    I'd just quit moving the burgers around, the flares would go away.

    Why low heat setting for burgers? I think weber is recommending medium high... Or am I wrong?

    Next time, before you toss them on the grill, use your thumb and push down on the center of each burger. It helps prevent all the juices from pooling in the center of the patty.

    Is it ok to clean the grate with a wire brush like you did? Any damage to the enamel coating by doing so?

    • @GallaghersGrub

      Andrew Ahn It's ok. No problems so far

      I bought a very unique wooden paddle scraper as not to do any more damage to the porcelain coated cast iron... I use Weber's brand nylon scrub padz n simple green

    I do use olive oil and salt and pepper myself. Would love to know what your favorite brands of seasonings are for burgers. There are some good ones out there.

    • @GallaghersGrub
      @GallaghersGrub  Před 7 lety +1

      Just salt, pepper and olive oil for the burgers. Maybe garlic powder. Of course you can add great toppings like good smoky bacon, bleu cheese, sautéed mushrooms, etc. But for the meat, just keep it simple.

    • @scotthull2141
      @scotthull2141 Před 5 lety
