Thanks for sharing this, some great things learned that I will be using in my build. Thanks for taking the time to do this and I look forward to seeing more of your videos in the future
Great Video and really liked this unit especially with doors on the sides for access to CNC and space cleaning dust and debris. Haven't seen many with easy access to back sides of their CNC enclosures. Great job.
Nice job I just made one myself. It helps a lot with dust and cuts the noise down as well. I use a security camera as well so I can shut down in the house.
We are in the process of building ours now. Will update comment with notes. Already found a few errors in the cut plans (only says 3 74" for the legs...etc).
Hi there! I would really appreciate any comments and mentioning any errors. I will definitely fix them. For the legs: A) If you are looking at the cut list, for some reason Leg N is put into two items No. B and No. C! They both represent the same piece and their total will be 4. I think this is how the SketchUp extension I'm using generated. B)if you are looking at the plans, I don't think It says 3 74" legs ( but definitely let me know where you saw it), I think you might've mistaken the width of the boards for their counts. There are 4 legs, and each is made from 2 (1 1/2” x 3” x 74”) pieces, with the edge of one piece fastened or glues to the face of the other piece. Let me know if anything else is unclear or looks wrong! thank you
@@PolarBeaverWoodworking Hi! Thanks for the reply. The confusion came when looking at the quantities listed on the actual Cutting Diagrams. On there, Part B for Leg N and says QTY 1. Then Part A for Leg W is also QTY 1. Part C, Leg N QTY 1. So there is total QTY 3, even though it shows eight on the summary (Leg W + 4, Leg N + 1, Leg N +1). Next thing we found was Part E (Rail, Long) also only had QTY 2 on the cut diagram, where 3 are needed (two for the supports and, one is rabbeted for the front door). So the cutting diagrams is where the quantity was confusing. We were not using the summary list. :) The carcass is built. Working on the plywood portions next.
@@digitaldesignservices Yes, I totally understand. I think this confusion coms from 2 things. 1) The terms that I used naming components, I tried to used them in a way that made most sense, at least to me. And also didn't rename if I copied a component. I will fix'em. 2) Again the extension that I'm using optimizes the cuts and tries to reduce the amount of off cuts. So the cutting diagram may not be in same order as the build plan. Thanks for the feedbacks and comments. They really mean a lot.
Hey there! Just wanted to let you know that we updated the file. Email us or shoot us a message on ETSY and I can send you the updated version. Hope it helps ☺
Great video. Tip for new woodworkers just avoid doing one thing: put ur hand on the wood over the blade as you push it, without protection or with. Just dont.
Great tip, thanks! For me it's all about control. If I don't feel that I would have complete control over a cut I wouldn't do it! But one can't be careful enough for sure!
@@PolarBeaverWoodworking daw I understand, just wanted new woodworkers to be careful. Great video, loved it and thank you for being humble to realize and agree with the safety advice 💖
It's a personal preference. You definitely don't have to, but the benefits are great. It dramatically reduces the noises of the spindle and the dust collection. Also it prevents dust from going in and coming out. It also add an extra layer of protection, so if a piece of work or a bit breaks, they won't just fly out and will stay inside the enclosure.
Yes, I use the Fusion 5 to control the CNC with Carbide Motion. Although it can run Carbide Create with no problem, I never use it for designing. You don't really need the keypad, but it provides more convenience. It comes in handy when I'm away from the tablet.
I think the videos wouod be much better if you spoke in them. I almost always skip videos without speech. This is constructive criticism. Truly. People live the "shorts" style with quick edits and no speech. I think its just so much opportunity lost to explain and connect with your audience. Just my opinion though.
Thanks for your feedback. This was the second video that I ever recorded and best performing video (so far) on my channel. Yet there are lots of things that can be improve, and if I go back I would definitely change lot of things about it. You are totally right about talking, explaining and connecting with the audience. There are videos that I talked in them, especially those that are more educational than just entertaining, and even those without talking, I try to generate Closed Caption for them. But as you suggest I think it is crucial to talk more on my videos and going forward I will try to do that more. Thanks
@@PolarBeaverWoodworking I apologize. I came off like a jerk. It's such a great video. I have premium CZcams so I listen with the screen off a lot of the time. So the videos with only sound bother me. I'm sure it's a "me" thing and lots of people love it. But perhaps it would increase engagement and subscribership. Definitely gives you more of a chance to use affiliate links and push your other products. I apologize again. It really was a great build
@@SzechuanChickenDog No worries at all. It came across as a constructive feedback. And to be honest, we have talked about trying to talk more and show up in front of camera. As a non-native english speaker, it can be challenging or take more time to come up with clear and clean talking points, but if we want to grow the channel, it's a must. and your great feedback is a confirmation that it is more appealing and engaging for viewers to see us talking on the videos.

This is an awesome design! Can’t wait to get on this level! 👍🏼
Thank you and good luck on your work

Thanks AJ. yeah that was our intention to make it as accessible as possible. Make sure to check out the design file for this if you're interested 😊
Very Nice, thank you for the design as well.
Thanks, Glad you like it 😊
Nice job and well thought out. May this design serve you well for years to come!
thank you very much. yeah worked great so far. Just added the 3D design to the description if you'd like to check

oh definitely. Also installed moisture and temperature meter inside, in case of an unfortunate event 🥲
Probably going to be one of my next purchases. Thanks for the idea. Great work.
thanks, appreciate it. I also shared my design file in the description. check it out☺
Nice work on the build. Function and form 👍🏼
oh thank you. just added the file link to the description if you're interested in checking it out.
Great design! Will be building mine based on your concept. Will add hinged door in back for longer cuts if needed.
Thank you👍🏽 Yes I wanted to put doors on 4 side but didn’t have enough space to have that. I can share the SketchUp Design file with you if you want☺️
@@PolarBeaverWoodworking I would love the sketch up design file too if you wouldn’t mind. Great job!
just added the 3D plan link to the video description, check it out if you'd like to
