Amazing Surya Kiran Indian Air Force Aerobatic Air Show 2024 Mumbai
The one-hour-long aerial display will highlight the skills, capabilities, and professionalism of the Indian Air Force through captivating displays and demonstrations.
The event will feature aerobatic performances by the Suryakiran Aerobatic Display Team and the ‘Sarang’ Helicopter display team, as well as a range of aerial activities including flypasts, low-level aerobatic displays by the Su-30 MKI, and freefall and parachute displays by the ‘Akashganga’ team and C-130 aircraft.
The air show also includes the demonstrations by the Suryakiran Aerobatic Display Team (SKAT) and the ‘Sarang’ Helicopter display team.
The aerobatic displays, as per the statement announcing the show, would also feature a vast range of aerial activities, including a fly-past and low-level aerobatic display by the Su-30 MKI, freefall and parachute displays by the ‘Akashganga’ team and C-130 aircraft.
The Suryakiran aerobatic team was established in 1996 and since then, it has been classified as a brand ambassador for the Indian Air Force. It is part of the 52nd Squadron of the Air Force. The team consists of 12 pilots and operates Hawk MK 132 aircraft
