So sorry I kept referring to Kingsley Ben-Adir as “Ben Kingsley” 🤦🏼♀️ I was totally wrong and weirdly confident that I was right 🤣 Anyways, I’ve since realized I had his name wrong and there is also a famous actor (some of who’s work I’ve seen) named Ben Kingsley who is a totally different person. So again, apologies 🙏🏻 If I mention him in videos in the future I’ll be sure to say his name correctly.

Barbie had it all, visually stunning, full of heart, thrilling throughout never a dull moment, electrifying soundtrack and Margot Robbie nailed Barbie she and Greta Gerwig were totally robbed at the Academy Awards. This movie honestly put every other movie last year to shame!
Just goes to show that much more needs changing for Barbie in the real world.
what a beautiful reaction to such a beautiful film. I love BARBIE so much. I am a 56 year old gay man. I wanted a barbie desperately as a child. I was in the midwest, the Bible Belt in the early 1970's, so it wasn't going to happen. I never got a barbie. YET. yet, I say. yes, this is a deeply layered film. Both Margot Robbie as producer and actress, and Greta Gerwig as director kind performed a miracle here. nobody thought this was going to be the BARBIE film. and barbie in all her glory seems like an impossible minefield that no film should even venture into. but luckily, venture they did. and thank goodness they did for us.
I loved your reaction. your quiet depth, mixed with such a wonderful intelligent wit, and sense of fun. every time we got to gloria's memory world with the barbies and Sasha, or we go to Ruth's world, I am awash in tears. and I was from the first second I saw it for the very first time. it just works. again-viva greta gerwig!
I love everything about this film. the look. the music. the fun. it is one of the funniest films I have seen in years. I am so thrilled that the world honestly did embrace BARBIE, and many have gone back over and over. I've watched it now probably about 10 times or more now, plus reactions.
I relate to everybody in it, but in truth I would be an Allan. no question. I even bought a "hi Allan" BARBIE t-shirt with Allan on the shirt. 56 years old. but in an Allan t-shirt. take that 56 aarp membership card and magazine that showed up in my mailbox unannounced a few months ago. way to knock me down and hit me in the head with my age, with no warning what-so-ever. just for that I am going to get a "hi Allan" BARBIE t-shirt and never take it off! (not really. but you get it.) I've liked and subscribed. like I said, I really enjoyed your the calm, ease, emotion, and the grace in your reaction. stay well! thanks for posting.

Ryan Gosling has recently suggested watching Kingsley at the end of the dance battle and he really is funny. Now you really need to see the "I'm Just Ken" from the oscars because Kingsley, Simu and Ncuti and Scott Evans are all in it. They come in like they are riding on horses because they are being controlled by kids.

There is a reason this movie made 1.5 billion dollars. Greta knows how to show human emotions very well.
This movie is such an important commentary on the patriarchy which does not serve either men or women. Feminism, like matriarchy, are not the opposite of the patriarchy; it’s about equity. Margot and Greta are so amazingly talented and this movie is perfection.
The footage we see at the end during the Billie Eilish song is footage from the staff working on the movie.

Barbieland is controlled by kids so it can be totally changed in minutes or even destroyed. She almost laughs when he says "sublime" because on every take he said something else.

I haven’t seen Buffy, though I’ve noticed a lot of other channels reacting to it. I’ll put it on the list to consider in the future but right now I don’t have any streaming services that have it 🤦🏼♀️

I know!! 😭 I’m soo excited for the new season coming out!! But I’m avoiding spoilers like the plague! Even trailers 🙏🏻 The only spoiler I’ve not avoided is that Moffat is coming back for at least one episode which is everything. But yeah I’m trying my best to be as surprised as possible when the seasons come out which is making the excitement and anticipation that much more intense!
