Chicken Asado is a type of chicken stew tomato - based Filipino dish. Chicken is simmered in tomato paste.

Ingredients:
1 kg of Chicken thigh
2 pcs of Chicken liver
1/2 cup of water
1/4 cup of tomato paste
1 1/2 tbsp of Oyster sauce
1/2 tbsp salt
1 pc potato (optional)
1 pc carrot (optional)
1 pc bell pepper (optional)
5 to 7 pcs of Kalamansi
Ingredients for marinating sauce:
2 1/2 tbsp of soy sauce
1 1/2 tbsp of vinegar
1/2 tsp of ground pepper
3 cloves of garlic
3 to 4 pcs of bay leaves
2 pcs of star anis
2 medium onions
4 medium tomatoes

perfeck chicken asado I love it
Nice. Looks yummy. But if you want your asado to last, fry the potatoes, carrots and bell pepper halfway through or just aldente (and remove the oil using paper towel) before putting them in. That way, you can avoid extra juice/water from these veggies which can later on spoil the asado quite easily - my mother's legacy to me. Just my two cents. .... 😄
Just done my dinner with this chicken asado and I'm so glad that everybody likes it! And now I'm responsible of ruining their figure..hmmm so yummy though I dont hve liver and tomato paste ibutn it but the result was awesome! Thank you so much!
