I am molecular biologist. I have started following Shykh Uthman’s videos recently and don’t know how much biology he knows. Surprisingly his arguments make sense. Environment can affect the expression of gene but cannot make new gene. Environment can turn some genes on or off or turn them up or down in intensity but cannot change the gene. Take the example of skin color. If you are living at hot place, your skin color cells produce more melonin that makes our skin black, at modest heat less melonin is produced and hence brown skin while at cold places least or no melonin is produced giving white tanning to skin. So environment here played with genes but didn’t make new gene. That’s exactly what Shakh was trying to make Haris bhai understand.
