The almost "end" of the video brought back an old memory....all of us had to bunk in the living room for about 6 wks while we finished the addition (which housed all of the new bedrooms & revamped one of the originals)...the kids got so used to "the family bed" during the project that it continued for some time after and then the kids chose to sleep in one of the bedrooms (instead of utilizing their own SEPARATE bedrooms that they begged for) for many more months....GOOD TIMES & GREAT MEMORIES! I'm THANKFUL for the reminder, for my Family & for you sharing yours with us!
So many memories. We had the same problem getting our kids out of are bed also. But we didn't have a big bedroom like you do. We could only afford a 2nd hand bed that was a full size & there was my husband, 2 kids, & me. It was tight. Thank God there out of the house now @ 24 yrs & 22 yrs old. But I sure miss them @ 5 yrs & 3 yrs old. Those where the best times of are lives. I love your bed. You guys did a wonderful job. Have a blessed Thanksgiving, Chris

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who holds onto scrap wood, knowing that someday it will be able to be recycled into a new project instead of being wasted and ending up in a landfill or burned.
We had two boys, two years apart, and they BOTH slept with us in our big king sized bed until they were about 11! (We had a massively large home so they were scared to sleep alone....) They're now married with magnificent wives, jobs and we all carry incredible memories of our family life together. :) LOVED this vlog Ana! I seriously anticipate watching you guys every week. I've been following you since you started building this magnificent home. I am full of gratitude and am thankful to you all.

Was just watching this one again and thinking that you're pretty darned lucky to have an 11 year old who would still rather hang out and sleep in your room family style. So many these days don't have that kind of closeness and connection in their family. Pretty cool...
Your view is better than any landscape portrait could ever be. So amazing. I know you have warm floors but I feel so bad for your senior citizen dog! Does he have a nice soft bed? They deserve special pampering during their final years. His/her joints are so stiff and sore. We got a really nice orthopedic bed for our Chocolate Lab from LL Bean when he was a senior. It looked almost like a piece of furniture. A dog couch. He loved it so much. The beds are a little pricy but I'm sure you will always have a dog to make use of it.
I have loved Ryobi tools for along time. And when I first seen your video's, I liked that you took on the challenge. Being a women in a man's world, it was time.. I have watched off and on since then. But, you have come along ways. You are an inspiration to all of us beginner woodworkers and I love that your husband drives a Dodge..
