- My pure Flame Swordsman Deck that I took to a 3rd place finish at a recent Case Tournament. (Profile, combo showcase, discussion).
No Infernoble combos here, we're summoning a big fusion and passing.

Cool to see someone giving the deck an honest shake. Its crazy to me how fast some people dismissed it with how good both Fighting Flame-man and Fighting Flame Sword both are.
Just a note for anyone that's going to play this deck: Flame Swordsdance can only tribute your own face-down monsters for its 2nd effect! Don't cheat your opponents on accident!
Yeah I guess I should’ve been more clear about that. Would have been a WAY better card if it could, but thats why it’s better to load up on the traps so you have more chances to set your own things to make the swordsdance gy eff live.

@@Biblical-FactsEffects that tribute monsters need to tribute your own cards unless they specifically specify that they can tribute your opponent's cards

I'm looking to build a budget Joey-inspired version of the deck for friendlies and I'm glad someone decided to cook with it, 'cause building without any help is a pain. :)

Love the deck! I agree you can be playing more than two of the traps, but it seems like playing too many will cause you to inevitably brick on too many traps when going 2nd some games
The idea here is to think of the trap cards as a part of your engine rather than things you will brick on. Remember, there are ~20 pieces of non-engine to help you with going second in this deck!

hi peeps i think you should take a look into the new melodious support for when it drops in LEDE, it sounds right up your alley and it can draw 2 in its combo if you play fusion sub as your tamtam target :) (better earth machine!!)
Awesome profile! Any reason why you didn't play immortal phoenix gearfried? Also what about crossout designator with a triple tactics talent to stop that?
This deck seems rad as hell, would you consider rota or durandal as additional copies of fighting in the future?
Why not run foolish? If you need to pitch FFS or Salamandra it can help get them in grave. If you dont need them you can pitch flame swordsdance as a back up answer to something like book of moon?
With your deck playing so many hand traps have you considered playing Cross Out designator? throw in one thrust and a talent and i think youre good.

The monster selene summons has to be summoned in Def mode and you cannot summon Link monsters in def mode

Thanks for the Deck Profile. I was wondering if you bump the number of traps up, if it would be worth it to add a Kashtira Riseheart? I tested a few hands with this build + the mentioned changes, and had a few hands where my only playable cards (without the handtraps) were Fenrir + Chains and a Riseheart would be another way to at least make the trap live.
Also, and I know it's not the main reason to play him, but it would open up rank 7 plays + the banish 3 effect can win some matches against fk in the coming format because of the amount of essential one offs they tend to play (Garunix, Diabellstar, Original, Fieldspell + perma Spell etc)

No, it only prevents effects during the first chain on summon, droll would activate on the next chain
You can add heritage spell card has it searches any warrior monster
Heritage of the Chalice? That only adds noble knight monsters.
Sorry my bad just finished watching the video were you were taking them out deck you can go bit more further and play dragoon package and 1, dark flare knight and 1,gaia blaze works perfect for this deck 😉

Yes, that is correct.
Maybe cut a few of the veiler theroy or an ash, a droll and judgements for crossouts and a triple tactics of your own as a crossout target

Definitely one of the worst flame swordsman profiles. No gearfread what??? And what about the rest of the infernoble cards. Durundle?? Renuad??? Nah definitely one of my least favourite profiles.

How good is the deck ? Am thinking of switching from runick spright fur hire ? And is the pure version better than with infernoble ?

You can even play a budget friendly fire king version due to the new mirage sword knight that specials the normal summon directly from deck when destroyed.
Obviously wanted can make the deck even better but lets not talk about that.
