I agree that the Britannia bar is simply gorgeous to look at! I stack generic 10 oz and kilo bars, but I would LOVE to have a couple of those Britannias just for their beauty.

Yes Mr Sting. - I think eye appeal has impact on ease of sale in future. Maybe even in fast increase price scenario - a ten oz would catch eye of someone trying to get as much silver as possible.

Royal Canadian mint 10oz silver bars are better because they are sold out at most bullion dealers and you can get a higher premium on the resell...britannia silver bars look nice but I won’t pay a premium for a bar that is 999. And has no serial number, I would rather buy silver town bars for .50 over spot....
Gold Addict - good advice. I have seen the 10 ozt bars as being hard to find in stock. Especially the RCMs being out of stock.
You may have saved $1 per oz. buy purchasing the bars but, if or when you go to sell them you'll get spot or a little less than spot. However, the coins you will get $2-4 over spot.
The round trip cost of ownership is an important consideration. Thanks for commenting and watching.

I've been buying the 10oz RCM as my normal bullion sites the Britannia is not available. Not comfortable buying on the secondary market. Too many bad stories of counterfeits.

I don't have either of those, but I do have other pressed 10oz bars. There is something so satisfying about the 10oz. that I just can't explain. The size, the feel. They're just perfect! Great video. Stack on!

G HD (S) that sounds like a great plan. A good amount of gold. I also like that you are getting the same items. You will get better used to look and color. In case you ever bought from private seller a fake might stand out more. But if you buy from major bullion dealer that might be less important. But those are awesome choices and a great plan. The RCM 10 oz. is the better product. The RCM 10 oz. is 9999 pure, which is medical grade ...No one makes a nicer, purer silver bar, period... No other silver bar comes close to the RCM for beauty and purity....

They are medical grade, that may or may not be a plus in the future, why buy 999 when you can get 9999 for the same price or less..? They are the purest 10 oz. silver bars around....i think your making a wise choice buy them...happy stacking...!

That Britannia bar is one of my favorites that I do now own but one day I’m gonna pick one up. Always liked that imagery
The Britannia is a great bar. I think for the beauty of the imagery the Britannia Coin might be nicer. She is stronger and more dynamic in full view on coin. But I love her on bar.

Those 10oz bars are wonderful. I have a friend loves to collect 1oz Britannias rounds. My passion lies in The Queens Beast. On the Canadian bar. I love the brushed finish. Thanks for sharing.
Britannias are beautiful in their many forms. But I love this brushed bar!
Both are nice bars, but have higher premiums. I prefer 10oz. bars with less premium. Sunshine bars are a better option. Recognized, and liquid pretty much anywhere, and significantly less premium.
Good advice. I thought about the sunshine bars but haven’t pulled trigger. Maybe I should.

RCM is my bar! Other than the couple poured bars I have, they're all 10oz Canadian Mint bars. I'm still needing a Britannia.✌

Do the brittania bars get milk spots too??
I believe it’s possible for any pressed bar to milk spot. Because they are like a coin in that they start with a planchette. Maybe cast bars are free of milk spots.

is there really any money to made on this from what I saw silver up 10 % in 2 years my uranium can do that in a couple of days (or go down)they are pretty though I think ill get some coins and rounds to ogle or is that oogle
There was silver growth from 2018 or 2019 into 2020. So there was one leg up. Timing is everything or hold for long time.

I am happy to see this video as I really had never seen the Canadian bar in detail before... it's one I have shied away from because of how plain the design is, but now I am tempted to get one. I am on a waiting list to get the 10 oz Britannia bar. As a Canadian, maybe I should have a Canadian bar...?... Even though it is not a Government-backed bar, I got a couple of the 10 oz Silver Gold Bull bars and they are really beautiful too!

You can hardly find either bar online. The RCM bar STILL isnt in stock online but i was able to buy one at my LCS. Anyone know when the RCM bar will be back in stock?
It’s a mystery to me. I was eyeing the RCM for a long time and it was hard to find. When I finally was ready to buy, still hard to find. Don’t know how much they produce, but maybe it’s us buying them that’s making it hard to find.

When I wasnt looking I finally found a Britannia in a coin shop. I had to buy it..the price was cheap.. $3 over spot...Didn't realize the waves fine makings on back are a security feature. vs the Canadian Bar multiple security features. Both are fantastic. If your spending that kind of money. Spend the lil extra on sovereign Govt issue bars.

I have been trying to the acquire the 10 oz. Britannia Bars for a longest time, I hope they’re up for sale soon. And I love the 10 oz. Royal Canadian Bars I already brought three already. I was able recently to purchase two five oz bars from First Majestic, they were out of the 10 oz. bars. But of course my favorite is “The Britannia” and love both bars and coins and rounds, anything Silver.
Royal Mint out out a limited edition 10 oz Una and Lion Bar. But thinking they still make Britannia. Hard to find in stock. Monument has RCM Canada 🇨🇦 10 oz right now.
@@SilverHeist I just my third RCM from SD Bullion. I hate to say this, but I have never brought from “Monumental Metals” even though I have an “User Account” with them. It’s just the way my stacking journey unfolded, I was introduce to my from a company called the “The Money Reserve” after I showed some interest in Gold, they hounded me with phone calls and I gave in and I some brought some overpriced Silver Rounds from them, not knowing anything about spot price and all the Metrics that go with precious metals. It’s only after educating myself about Silver, which I think is a lifelong journey, that it occur to me that I should just buy Silver from an online dealer or a LCS. Anyway to make a long story short, Google being my GoTo search engine, on my first search SD Bullion came up and their prices were reasonable, I brought a lot from them, but they had a small inventory and in my other online searchs, I also found JM Bullion and APMEX and they had a lot more to offer, I found it hard to switch to new vendors. And now these are the three I mostly buy from. But I really want to purchase a “Britannia”. Anyway I will keep trying until I find one. Thanx for the info.
Both bars are nice ... I like the imagery on the Brit bar but I like the reeded edge and serial number on the Canadian bar. Would like to see more imagery on the Canadian bar. Wish the US Mint would produce a 10 oz. silver bar!!!
The Canadian Bar is so beautiful in its simplicity. I also wish the US Mint made a bar. Canada and Perth AUS and UK have bars.
RCM chooses security features over imagery. It is bullion, not collectable. RCM bar blows the Britannia out of the water. RCM will be more recognizable after SHTF

My favourite silver pieces the 10oz bars although I don't have any if taxes and premiums were equal on all silver I'd stack them
Taxes are so different from place to place! They definitely make it harder to save money in the form of Metals. But not impossible!

Love those bars, but I don’t own any myself. I guess if I were to purchase some, it would be one of two varieties that I like...the 10 oz Sunshine Mint Bar, or the 10 oz Royal Canadian Mintage Bar. I’m just drawn to both of those for their unique look. The Sunshine with their shiny, smooth surfaces, and undeniable security features, and the RCM bars have the most unique design of all, with that matte finish, and bold security serial number on front. If the funds were available, I think it would be about 50 of each. A man can dream, can’t he?

It's very tough to choose between these two but I'd go with the Britannia. The Britannia bar is cooler and more beautiful, but there is a rustic charm to the RCM bar.

When it's time to buy I choose either one which is available or cheaper because they are both nice. I do have a slight preference for the RCM bar though.
2 of the sweetest 10oz bars.my shop had about 20 of each so I grabbed a couple of each. They are so hard to find tho.

I LOVE RCM bars. They are gorgeous bars, but if push came to shove and I had to sell most of my silver, I would keep my East India Trading CO bar. That is hands down my favorite bar that I'll keep no matter what.

@@SilverHeist I've only begun but I do remember that my Mother's silverware tarnished if you handled it and put it away. I keep mine in a safe with silica gel and the larger items in a tarnish prevention bags. I want to keep their quality as high and as long as possible. If I handle the silver I use cotton gloves. It just doesn't seem like anyone that would directly handle it is very knowledgeable.
Those really are beautiful!! I have a decent stack of 10 oz bars, but they are all low premium generic type bars. These two put mine to shame. Well done brother!!! I hope they were purchased and not heisted😂🤣✌️

as of 02/03/20 I paid just shy or $2.00 less for 10 Krugerrand(2020) than I paid for the RCM 10oz bar.
