Lovely review & presentation :) I agree that the Glenmorangie 10 yo is a base level whiskey. I usually have a bottle around whenever I feel like sipping something simple and fresh. most of the time I drink Islay whiskey (Lagavulin, Caol Ila, Ardbeg etc.) I like Glenmorangie's floral notes. Getting to the point where I watch the bloopers first then go back and watch the video 🤣 great stuff and everyone needs to laugh with what is going on now. This one has sent many people down the malt whisky rabbit hole. Although if you are a cask strength Bourbon crossover Aberlour A'bunadh is the one to go for. Redbreast 12 CS is another that Bourbon people go for too.
Mmm yes two are on my list of want to tries. I always prefer a CS if I can get it

I'm not a scotch fan so my list of bottles I like is pretty short. This one is right at the top. Your notes are spot on but I get a white wine vibe from it also.

Glenfiddich 12, but honestly all very blah. Compared to something like Ceaigellachie 13 or Deanston 12 :)
