I have been avoiding Jameson for many years. I typically do not enjoy what the "masses" go for. Today I picked up a 200ml bottle to give it a try. WHAT GARBAGE! I have had Vodkas with more flavor than Jameson. My wife and 20yo daughter were likewise exceedingly underwhelmed by this. Why do people drink this? I would take Red Label over this.

Quinta Ruban (in its former iteration as Portwood Finish) was the whisky that got me hooked on single malt whisky.

Love your review…but the aggressive shaking is unnecessary and can have negative effects on the taste of the whiskey. I recommend a light, tilted swirl to coat the entire glass and release the bouquet

The nose on both of these are incredible as well as the taste without getting extravagant on either. if you look at price (upstate NY) the 1910 is $11 cheaper. and yes the poof on the 1920 is 115 proof, but then I can also buy a bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed at 116 proof for the same price as the OF 1910 if that's what matters to you. I just found a bottle of Copper Craft 100 today for $21.99 at Tower Wine and Spirits near me and thought it was a pricing mistake and I'm always looking for deals. I have yet to taste it yet, but will tonight.
