  • Everyone has questions. Some are simple - how's the weather? Others are difficult - What is the meaning of life? What is my purpose? What was I made for? These questions are tough. Everyone has them, but no one wants to ask them. This is why we hide these questions behind the phrase "I'm asking for a friend..." It gives permission to ask tough questions, without revealing our true thoughts and feelings.
Our world is more connected than ever, but personally we've never felt more isolated and alone. Health professionals have noticed and have declared we are living in an epidemic of loneliness. So what do we do? Where do we turn? The answer might surprise us. This week looks at how Jesus saw everyone, helped them in their time of greatest need and most importantly reminded them that they were not alone. He's saying the same thing to us today.
Let's learn how to own and ask the tough questions, even if we are just asking for a friend.
