Footplate ride on a narrow gauge Dutch steam tram

While at the RTM Museum in South West Netherlands I was lucky enough to experience a ride, over the whole line, in the cab of a 0-6-0 steam tram built in 1916. The crew encounter a small technical issue during the ride, and I interview with one of the crew on the footplate (in English).
The video is supported with subtitles so I suggest you watch it on a monitor, not a mobile phone. Obviously turning the volume up enhances the overall experience :)

Thanks Geoff! Both Firing and Driving a steam locomotive is quite an artform, it is quite a challenging "balancing act" that most people do not realize. Oftentimes operating a smaller locomotive is more "tricky" than operating a larger beast! This is a well-presented video! What a fine day you had Geoff!! ;-)
