Everything was so easy back then.
New Star Wars trilogy, our hopes in the highest place, everyone was so happy.
I really miss that feeling.
This new trilogy takes place 30 years after the original trilogy, so they couldn't have adapted the Thrawn canon for the sequels. So I'm still scratching my head what they could've done for a storyline instead of this rehashed slop....the originals; empire vs rebellion, rebels take down empire. Prequels: republic and Jedi, sith takes down republic and Jedi and creates empire. What can you do really?
@@philingrouille7198 Maybe instead of Star Wars Legends where the Yuuzhan Vong War happens then the second Galactic Civil War, it's the other way around for the sequel trilogy for the Second Galactic Civil War, no Sith anything this time, just dark side force sensitive users like Kylo Ren (only this time his name is Anakin Solo) and Snoke (who is Plageuis secretly). Luke and Mara Jade are a thing and they have Ben Skywalker as a son. And so many more.
@@memecliparchives2254 BanditIncorporated had an idea for the sequels where the Sith and the Jedi come together to face the Whills (this time being the pure embodiment of the force), and in Episode IX there's an entire balance of the force.

If I recall correctly, it was a collaboration between John Williams, Junkie XL (from Mad Max Fury Road) and someone else. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure all 3 of them helped make the trailer music. However, John Williams worked on the movie's soundtrack alone

Still gives me chills. If anything, I'd say the music makes the damn films. It can really grip you, emotionally. I'm a damn man, who served as an Infantryman and deployed overseas to Afghanistan, and I still tear up when some of these scores come on.
This track gave me so much hope for the new trilogy... Back then. It still gives me chills regardless.

Yes it's in the movie. That part of the trailer is using a piece from Han and Leia's theme so it would make sense you think of them.

I remember during the autumn of 2015, I was beyond hyped for TFA. I was 15 and in 10th grade. I built many Lego SW sets, I listened to the soundtrack from all the films, and I had a SW movie marathon to strengthen my hype. Those were the good ol’ days.

Han and Leia's theme from The Empire Strikes Back was always one of John Williams' best love themes. It stood out at the end of the end credits finale of that film, but you barely hear it at all in The Force Awakens. Strange, since much of this film is about them and their son.

This music - so emotional. So powerful. It brings me to tears hearing it every single time. Williams knows how to work a theme and this one pulls every emotional string in the book. Just beautiful.

the force awakens was so good, the last jedi was good IMO, but lots of people didn’t like it as well, and the rise of skywalker was bad no matter if you liked the last jedi or not

1:13.... as such a huge Star Wars fan, I come back to this moment and cry, remembering all of the other movies, and the amazingness it was as a whole. Remember Star Wars for as it was. Be thankful it happened. Dont be sad it's gone. May the force be with you.❤
It's not gone. It thrives. The only one who kills star wars, is the one who chooses to do it for themselves.
This might be a load of rubbish but notice how it can somehow seem as though rey is holding the red lightsaber symbolising how she has that dark side temtation and it makes her look like how episode 9 made her. And finn is on the side of starkiller base, symbolising how he was on that side, the first order and him holding the blie lightsaber signifying his pull to the good.
Now imagine if that's maybe how the story went, Reys struggle between he light and dark similar to Luke. Finn trying to keep her on the good side, while Kylo Temps her with truth. Hell that was a plot point in TLJ with the stupid island thing as well. She craves truth and that pushes her away from the light which cannot give it.

Hes going to be such a badass black lead, finally! There is so much that we'll discover in this trilogy to come!
