Omg The Ghost Woods! I am nervous but I think it does some things you're going to appreciate! It's historical set in the 50s and 60s and definitely more spooky than scary.
And This Vicious Grace! Look at me being an influencer and a bad influence 😂
Oooooh, the audio for ruin of kings is fantastic but the world building in the first one is a little intense so if you can get another copy of it like a physical from the library I would recommend to read with

I really like the cover for The Mermaid, The Witch and the Sea, it looks so pretty. I am curious to hear what you think of Cold the Night, Fast the Wolves. I picked that up last year at a comic con because the author is from my area and it sounded intriguing. I also have quite a few others you picked up that are on my physical TBR. 😂So I'm with you on needing to re-examine book buying, it's too easy to see someone rave about a book, go buy it and then just have it languish on the bookshelves un-read.

Ok I just finished reading age of ash so now I'm curious to see what you'll think of it. It has an unlikable mc who's dealing with grief, so maybe you will like her more than I did

also...I'm on a version of the no buy. If it's one I own on kindle or audio and absolutely loved, I can buy the book used to have a physical copy
