football trumps cricket anytime. The pitch , toss , playing under lights, due , etc. does not play any role in football its truly a game that tests your skill set and talent. Hope kids in the age group 7-15 take to football in India in a big way and get past cricket

I completely agree that the talent exists in spades and barely have an outlet. I grew up in Kerala and some of the kids I played with had silky smooth technique and touch. Phenomenal dribbling skills… but not enough to do it on a big field. On smaller pitches they were incredible… and I have a high bar for talent. So… yes. Let’s hope we can give the kids a strong platform to build on.

      @Youdoyouyeah Před 6 měsíci

@@mohdehtesham8357 bang on! Also the dribbling technique changes. Your small field skills are great in tight situations. But often on a big pitch, running at top speed whilst dribbling is the key. Having silly touch at top speed while going shoulder to shoulder with a defender needs a lot more core strength and a different kind of body physics.
Endurance of course as that when taught later in life has much less chances of translating.

Football is the most beautiful game not only because of entertainment but also its beauty and its athletic nature its environment its mentality etc... The few things that indian kids < 11 years old have to train for, rigourously..
    1. First touch away from defenders. always
    2. Shooting with laces.Both feet.
3.Shooting while running with the ball.
    4. Playing with both feet.Specially shooting with weaker feet.
5.Accuracy training on shooting.Keeping numbers like 1,2,3,4 etc against a brick wall..500 times a day.
6.Quick receiving and releasing the balls to the above numbers randomly but aiming each numbers.
After 11, its time for physicality, vision, speed etc.But the foundations are above few things.

    Is cricket a fair game??
No, Cricket is a highly unfair game, and I said it many times.
Toss factor, dew factor, pitch factor, conditions of playing ball, these are some examples.. Each team gets 10 different types of advantages and disadvantages in this game.
There is huge difference when bowling in 1st innings & bowling in 2nd innings.
Some teams gets more advantages than others In each and every games.. Specially in day & night matches.
The ball was not being gripped properly.. The pitch changed it's nature after a certain time..
Is this equal chance for all? Or is this look same condition by any sense?
It depends only on luck, on toss & on decision.. Talent & skills come later.
It's not 50-50 contest, it never was.
From start to end this game depends on luck.
India would have won for sure if they bowled in the first innings today.
I'm not talking about players and their talent, or coaching stuffs, or any individuals.. I respect all of them too..
But, I'm questioning about ethics & sprit of this game.
