  • The fourth meeting of the Oral History Workshop was led by Anita Haviv-Horiner, an educational consultant and author. She grew up in Vienna as the daughter of Holocaust survivors and now working as a freelance consultant developing educational programs dealing with antisemitism, the intergenerational impact of the Holocaust, Jewish and Israeli identity and Israeli-European relations.
Her book “Nothing New in Europe?" is intended to offer a didactic tool to both identify and combat antisemitism in different educational settings. The publication looks at the persistence of European antisemitism today through interviews with Jewish Israelis who draw upon their lived experiences to reflect on anti-Jewish rhetoric, the role of Israel, and the relationship between antisemitism and the persecution of other minorities.
