@@thomasschmidlin3296 who knows. we know that he owed the major and served him even if he did not agree with all he did. in the end he also wanted to die...werewolves should be loyal to someone that did something big for them i guess . and he is the last of his race so maybe the major saved his life and helped him recover which in turn would make hans honor bound to serve him? i would see the major plan something like that. also in the end you can see it on his face that he was happy to finally die and do so by somebody else's hand( a special person. i wouldn't just see him going easy and leaving himself open with giving the silver tooth to a mere human)
@@clientcomun1958 I wondered about his necklace, reminded me of a dog tag. It showed it breaking for a reason, he was no longer shackled no doubt. Then with death his freedom is complete.
@@Xaforn that's because it is a Dog Tag in most of Europe they use Dog tags that can be split, one remains with the fallen all the time, the other get's passed on, i think the Americans just have two induvidual dog tags, so there's no need to make it splitable
I'm pretty sure the Capitan knew that Seras couldn't beat him. That's why he kicked the silver tooth at her. I also think the reason he wanted to die was because they had pretty much won, London was destroyed, Alucard was "gone", And the major got the war he wanted, they spent there whole life time waiting for that moment so once it came true they pretty much lost there point in living. So that's why the captain gave Seras the tooth, he was happy to die.
I don't think he knew Seras couldn't defeat him because maybe he wanted her to give him the best she can give so he gave her the silver tooth to kill him so he could die
Yeah i suppose, that sounds better, every time i see him die his face is so childish though, like he's a little kid again. So either way he did want to die in the end i guess, do you think if he hadn't given her the tooth she still could have won? I mean i'm all for Seras and she's amazing, but i kind of wonder if she really would have been able to win :s
Shay hetherington I thought that he was trying to even up the fight, In my opinion i think he knew how to kill Seras but she didnt know how to kill him. The captain always seemed like honor meant alot to him so he wanted a level playing field. Just my thoughts ;P lol
I think he let her win if he stayed full wolf she would of died in no time I think he went back to human becuaze he didn't want to kill her I meen he nicked her in wolf form and she flew away lol

Finally a werewolf and that's how he goes down... at least he was nothing but epic... until the end
I started to get into this show after I saw twilight, I just thought "Thank god someone knows what real vampires and werewolves are! Finally something makes sense!"

How lonely he must’ve been, no pack and no one to understand him. What horrible things he must’ve witnessed in his ancient lifetime....but still an honorable being. As sad as it is, I’m glad he got his final desire. He’s my second fav after Pip.

I love his ending, guy had been so stoic his entire run on screen. Clearly acting as a loyal dog for the Major, then finally he dies and smiles and drifts away, like he could move on to whatever would come next with no regrets
The captain the only person of the majors lost brigade that was not artificially changed by the mad doctor but was an actual werewolf who fought against alucard and Walter even in world war 2
This still has to be my favorite interpretation of werewolves, its so different from everything else
Yeah focusing on the loyal hound aspect, rather than the wild animal aspect. Where the werewolf is quiet and noble and honorable, like a good doggo, and has elements of tragedy being a lone wolf with no pack, clearly missing his family and wanting to move on to the next world hoping he will see them again

well he did want to get killed.
he let seras win, he could have easily killed her in his wolf form (he got 2 different wolf forms, even the weakest form would of been overkill already).
alucard also wants to die, only difference is that he wont let himself just get killed..hes searching for an worthy opponent.

He's the last werewolf. I wish Hellsing went more into the werewolves, he was a badass. Second strongest person in the series
The Captain is very clearly holding back he can turn into mist to avoid damage and a giant wulf to just bully her he seems to even have a type of hybrid form but he fights like a normal man and only uses his abilities when necessary and he also he just gives her a silver piece.
Not to disrespect my girl Seras but Hans is obviously Alucard and Anderson level if he went all out with killer intent.

This is better than 90% of AMVs simply because it doesn't drown out the sounds of the action.
I think it's possible that the Captain can stop regeneration in his full Werewolf form bc when he hit Seras she had scrapes on her face and she couldn't regenerate bc she still had them through out the hole fight.
vampires actively deny the cycle of life so it's not uncommon for things like werewolves to be effective against them, Werewolves embody change while vampires embody defiance.

@@blacky8987 that is never confirmed and it's spelled facts. in the dawn Alucard says that he is atleast over 100 years old but Alucard himself is a mix of count Dracula and vlad tepes,vlad tepes the impaler was alive in 1431 and hellsing ultimate take places in 1944 of September so that means Alucard himself is over 500 years 513 to be exact.And tell me from where did you even get the "fact" of the werewolf the most mysterious guy in the series that not much is known about him is older than Alucard?

@@blacksabbathfan8067 the werewolf would easily give alucard a huge run for his money as in the manga he literally cut alucard clean in half with a single kick.
I dont think he was exactly holding back, but he certainly gave her the information and the opening to let it happen. If he really wanted to survive, I dont think she would have had much of a chance. So it was a well fought battle, but not a desperate one.

He took her best attack and and he just did that teleport thing. Plus when he was in wolf form, he almost one shotted her. She was never a threat to him.
without guns and wapons captain is same level as alucard so i do think they made captain appearence way to short also the way he dies giving seras the tooth like he wants to die still this is best amv ive seen from hellsing in 3 years

This is just a theory but it's possible that The Captain got weaker after one if his fights bc he has that scar on his eye and couldn't regenerate it.
Great AMV and nice choice of music! Just as a tip, I'd turn the sound of the actual anime off sometimes. The sound of their voices or the gun sounds were a nice addition to the music but hearing it during the whole song is a bit distracting. Aside from that, the video was great, keep it up!
