The best harmonies in this video belongs to En Vogue. But to me some of the best harmonies by a female group weren't even mentioned in this video. The Clark Sisters, The Emotions, SWV and Xscape.

At any given time, any member could move to the forefront of the song without sacrificing the tone or tune. Other girls groups can aspire, but only one can INspire.

What's so stunning about En Vogue is the effortlessness. Of course, they all have great voices, but their musicality is just through the roof. They could basically carry on for hours, just like a really good jazz combo. They know their instruments.
The Braxtons harmonies were everything. There’s plenty of other great clips. And I say a lot of their harmonies were great due to Towanda’s low notes. It blended perfectly with her sisters highs.

Clearly En Vogue takes it with their signature trills and bends to that high note back through the root and to the low note.
If you grabbed all these groups and have them the same random song En Vogue would come out with some 9/8 to 3/4 breakdown and a 4/4 vamp.
