@what does the name matter? And by 1995, DiBiase would occasionally be used on commentary for the international versions of WWF Superstars and other syndicated WWF shows before he left.
It's cool that Nash is so candid about the business during the 90's. He is one of the survivors because there are a fair few that lived this lifestyle and aren't around today to tell it!
What amazes me is how these guys used so much recreation drugs yet were able to go to the gym and maintain their muscle/mass and physique for the shows. Crazy.
Burning the candle at both ends. When you're young your body can handle it but if the novelty doesn't wear off at some point you'll find yourself with a very unhealthy lifestyle, Old Father Time bearing down on you and greatly diminished powers of recovery. I've seen quite a few people thrown from the carousel in their forties and in all honesty most of them are no great loss. Being young, inquisitive and irresponsible is a great trip but when your balls have grown sufficiently to fit your pants you should be able to give a good account of yourself at any social occasion driven by the unfettered might of your default software. No herbal or chemical stimulant is an improvement on that - if you're doing it right.
@XO Sikk Lif3 yeah i mean look at hall and waltman now. Even nash though you can see some of the effects. He says it when he doesn't remember the wcw days.
LOL, He's not kidding about throwing out the address... The WCW came to Pittsburgh sometime during fall of 98 or spring 99 for a house show at the Palumbo Center at Duquesne University. Scott Hall wasn't on the card, but he ended up coming out to the Fugees " Ready or Not" and the 4-5,000 in attendance went nuts. It was classic bc the song played for 45 seconds and everyone was like who the hell is this gonna be. He did his mic promo with a beer or 2 in hand and then promptly told any chicks - after he asked the rest of the NWO what the name of the hotel was, lol- who were hott that the after party was gonna be at the Weston William Penn and to stop on by.
I've heard half a dozen guys tell that story, and every time it's someone different trying to shoot up Warlord. I don't think Nash and Warlord were ever even in the same company at any point.
Nash is one of the best interviews in Wrestling ... VERY easy to listen to. And after a while of listening to him you realise you are starting to like him and agree with him on many things.
I disagree strongly with the way he responds to personal disputes and I found him dull as a wrestler - but he's a good talker and he has a lot of interesting anecdotes.
33?! I had those prescribed to me for the better part of 5yrs. And even with my frame and build (6’2” 276) my tolerance never got that bad. The most I ever took was 11 in one day, and I had to be peeled off my bed. Nash is an animal!

For the paycheckBut in more than a few interviews he's crossed the line by stating/implying that the whole of his career was always about Cash, it cuts people... as much as we know we'd do things for money, there is a certain expectation in performers that they are at least motivated, in part, by love of their work, and some level of Feeling for the Fans... I don't fault him in the least, but I recognize how some people might take issue with it... the Irony is the same people who hate Nash for 'pay checking" are the ones who complain that Cena is over exposed, because he's not just collecting a check, but he's working almost every show, hitting up every interview, and making public appearances Earning those checks...
Kevin gets rightful hate from a lot of fans from his work as being a booker in WCW. He fucked over a lot of people and was one of the reasons for the downfall of WCW.
