The 2022 KLX 300 Relay is located on the left side of the bike, just forward of the battery. You'lll need to remove the left side panel (plastic). The TST Gen2 (the one they recommend) will fit. However, the rubber housing is one piece with the factory relay. I used a zip tie to mount it.
Yeah. They need to update this video for the 2022 model. I removed and replaced every connection under the seat before figuring out what was going on. Otherwise, an easy install.
That is too vague to make an assessment of what's causing a problem, and how to fix it. You will need to contact our customer service guys through our website and provide some more detail. They will be able to figure out your solution. Let's not throw more parts at the bike in hopes of fixing the issue. It is better to troubleshoot and approach the solution with certainty.
I installed the TST fender eliminator kit on my 2021 KLX 300 Dual Sport. Very nice kit and the install was easy following the youtube video instructions. With the new 2021 300 model it uses a different relay than the one in the video above. I bought the correct relay (Gen 2-F) BUT I can't find the darn OEM relay on my bike to make the swap. It looks nothing like whats in the video above. Any help is appreciated.
It is probably the same as our RLYG2. If you compare the part numbers from Kawi for KLX250 and KLX300 and they match then you can just get our RLYG2 with confidence.
