Ordered this as soon as the vid was over! Love the art! Can you change course of where you put your fire and water from one egg to another or are they set as soon as you place them?
at about 46:00 Nicki could have drafted the higher 7 point dragon (yellow/red) and filled it immediately with the same red dragon she hatched gaining her 5 more points and 2nd place

It also wouldn't have ended the game, so if Lincoln decided to not draft the last yellow who knows what could have happened.

Thanks for the play through! Loved the artwork but the game seems super lucky with not too many real choices for players. Wish there was a bit more game there.
Forgot a couple rules.
1) You can reroll the dice once so you're not stuck with your first roll.
2) If you roll 2 treasure chests, you don't spin the wheel and you take all the spoils from one slice.

Ah I was expecting the mystery and dual eggs to be more fun than they were.

How did Lincoln get that victory point card? He had one green, one yellow and one wild. He would need either a green or a yellow to get it. He'd still win, but with a much smaller margin. As for the game it seems really bad for seasoned gamers, but great to play with kids, especially if they're into dragons.
if you watch his yellow cards closely, he has 2 of them. the yellow dragon graphics doesn't go all the way to the top like the others, so you see way more sky that makes it kinda appear like a single card.
you know that table doubles as a swinger buffet.
Lincoln probably should have hatched one egg and claimed one dragon at 37:18. Odds were good one of the slices that he could take with a completed egg would complete the second egg. It looks like water is on pretty much every slice that he could have taken.
Sad that the dice are quite hard to see with white on yellow- should have produced it in a better color but looks like a fun game which we could play with our kids
yeah. Rookie mistake. :/
@@BrandonGraham - maybe one could grab a waterproof pen and draw in the white lines with black or dark blue ;-)

Another game night, another obscure and random game! I hope we can look forward to seeing you guys demo some anticipated games at some point!
In this season they played Tapestry, Hadara, Quacks of Quedinburg, Carpe Diem, Wingspan....
@@marcussousa1308 We also got Incubation, Dungeon Academy, Corinth, Silver and Gold, Rail Pass, Draftosaurus, Scorpius Freighter, Dizzle, and Honga.
We've got new releases like Maracaibo, Cooper Island, Paladins of the West Kingdom, Glen More 2, Ishtar. Hell they've never done a playthrough for Architects of the West Kingdom, or Root, or Teotihuacan, etc. I guess I sometimes gets frustrated when there are SO MANY critically acclaimed games they've never done an episode on, and then we get Honga or Incubation.
Either they are doing paid playthroughs, which I wouldn't begrudge at all, gotta make that money, or, they need some new blood in the game scheduling department. But it's got to be one or the other.
@@shanerion We don't do paid playthroughs. These are the games we are excited about and some of them are obscure. Many games you mention are in the works including some that have just been released. We can't get to all games much less some of them immediately and that is unfortunate but the nature of our show. I hope we put something up for you soon that you are hoping to see. -Lincoln
@@boardgamegeek I like the occasional obscure game if the group thinks it will be fun and interesting. I would not have known about draftosaurus if it weren't for the playthrough and I thought it was great! While the heavy games are fun, there's not always time or the group wanting to play those so I like to get light games as well.
@@boardgamegeek Damn it Lincoln! Now I feel like a jerk lol. I love your show, yes I have been a little impatient recently, but you are still my favorite group of players on CZcams, it's a joy to watch your group play games.
Are you guys worry about COPPA? I hope you know what I am talking about. It might affect this channel.
They'd have to have animated or live activities specifically directed at children ages 12 and under, as well as collect data on them. I don't think they have anything to worry about.
Worst game ever on Gamenight! But still the show was fun because of you guys
Curious what didn't you like about the game?
@@OrichalkosTV mainly because of 2 reason 1) complete lack of dice mitigation (i think that giving a reroll token or something similar when you roll a chest wouldn't make the game too hard or long)
2) so many turns (30%) in which players has No decisions to take.
Meh game choice.
This theme just doesn't intrigue me at all. Could care less about some dragon theme. Ah.
